DESCRIPTIONYou will program manage strategic L&D initiatives as a single-threaded leader for Global Operations Learning and Development (GOLD) in Rest of the world (ROW) region.Strategy: Create and implement multi-year program strategy and annual roadmap for ambiguous and complex learning problems. Includes defining a mission, vision, tenets, and long-term priorities. Includes ensuring that stakeholders, leaders, and others are working toward common goals and strategic objectives. Require judgement and experience to make appropriate short-term vs. long-term trade-offs.Communication: Require excellent written and verbal communication skills (e.g., Amazon 6-pager, PR/FAQ, reporting, etc.) and present them effectively to senior leaders. Lead meetings effectively. Put the right people in the room. Drive mindful discussions that lead to crisp decisions. Communicate across cross-functional and diverse global teams.Collaboration and Influence: Demonstrate effective consulting skills, with an ability to influence in all directions and at all levels. Escalate effectively. Find a path forward in difficult situations and in disagreements. Build consensus, secure commitments, and negotiate positive outcomes in all directions and at all levels.Program Mgmt.: You lead the design, implementation, and delivery of cross-functional solutions in an ambiguous or new learning area. Ability to plan, organize, meet deadlines, prioritize workloads, and manage parallel projects with multiple moving pieces. Create and implement effective change management processes.Analytical and Critical Thinking: Demonstrate strong business acumen, including problem solving skills, critical thinking.
