Position Location: Mumbai \xe2\x80\x93 Andheri (E)Hours of operation: 1 shift: 5.30am to 1.30pmSalary \xe2\x80\x93 Salary commensurate with experienceThe Senior IT Infrastructure Analyst (Linux) is responsible for working on assigned projects and technical initiatives in an efficient/effective manner. The Senior IT Infrastructure Analyst must possess a high degree of technical knowledge regarding Linux systems and associated tools for managing them.Key accountabilities:

• Proactively deploy and maintain Linux infrastructure to ensure 24x7x365 uptime.
• Engineering of solutions for various project and operational needs
• Maintain best practices on managing systems and services across all environments
• Fault finding, analysis and of logging information for reporting of performance exceptions
• Proactively monitoring system performance and capacity planning
• Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, hot fixes
• Create and modify scripts or applications to perform tasks
• Provide input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment
• Collaborate with other teams and team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes

• 8-10 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Linux administration and management

• In depth knowledge of Linux: RedHat, CentOS, Debian, etc.
• Hands on experience with databases on Linux
• Familiarity with VMWare and SAN management and concepts
• Expert in Shell, Perl, and/or Python scripting
• Solid knowledge of protocols such as DNS, HTTP, LDAP and SNMP
• Linux certifications (RHCT, RHCE and LPIC)
• Strong problem solving and communication skills

• Good learner and be able to pick up new technology quickly.

• Experience with hyper-converged infrastructure such as Nutanix
• Experience and familiarity with storage solutions.
• Experience and familiarity with AWS.
