This is known as the Outreach process. Post Outreach, a new process starts which is known as the "Abandoned Property Process".\xef\x83\xbc After we do the outreach there is a benefit which is due, and it is our obligation to pay this benefit out to our customers and if they do not respond then we have to escheat this. This will be escheated to the estate and at a later point customers can claim those funds from the state, so MetLife must ensure that we take off or remove the liabilities of the records of accounting and place them into an abandoned property which is a holding area.\xef\x83\xbc Once we process abandoned property it can take upto 3-4 years to move to State.Job Responsibilities, Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesJob Responsibilities

• Process Abandoned Property transactions for Annuities and investments. Processing the steps as per the SOPs & QRGs and conducting comprehensive research of the prior required actions taken on the transaction
• Transaction processing using multiple applications and records.
• Verify all necessary documents, details, and history of the case and decide to process accordingly.
• Interpret the documents, especially handwritten information

Education

• Bachelors degree (Any Stream) or diploma with a minimum of 15 years of education. (Candidates with B.Tech., MBA, BCA, or with any technical education would not be required)

Experience

• 0 to 24 months of experience preferably in a blended environment

Knowledge and skills (general and technical)

• Strong process knowledge and expertise
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
• Strong knowledge of Snagit, MS Word, MS Excel, PDF, and SharePoint tools

• Strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work independently.
• Ability to work with others internally and develop/maintain strong working relationships.
• Basic knowledge of supported business functions, processes/procedures, systems, etc.
• Hands-on experience with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

• TL/ AM to report performance, escalation handling, clarifying concerns, and seeking feedback and support as well as associate development.
• Manager to settle issues left unresolved by the TL and monthly evaluation of performance.
• Process Reviewer for feedback and audit.
• Trainers for process training and refreshers
