Senior Security Engineer Locations: India What you get to do in this role: Monitor the Splunk environment for potential issues and infrastructure performance. Build relationships throughout the enterprise to bring internal business stakeholders and their data into Splunk. Help technology teams enable their use of Splunk to satisfy their business goals. Share responsibility for the implementation and maintenance of the Splunk infrastructure and configuration. Guide users on data on-boarding as part of engagement projects. Work with key stakeholders on developing use cases and knowledge objects to be implemented in Splunk. Qualifications To be successful in this role, we need someone who has: 4-6 years of related experience or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience. Understanding and experience with Splunk architecture and administrating multi-site clusters. Knowledge and experience with Splunk administration is desirable. Understanding of SPL and how to manipulate Splunk data through the interface. Understanding and experience with Splunk CIM and field extractions. Experience working with Linux environments and comfortable with command line access. Ability to read Python and Shell. Ability to program in either language is highly desirable. Knowledge with Cribl application is desirable. Knowledge and experience with source control (git) and management platforms (puppet) desirable.
