Job Description


We are seeking a skilled Sr HRIS Systems specialist to join our esteemed financial services firm. As a Sr HR Systems Specialist you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining our global Human Resources Systems (like Workday, Cornerstone and HR Servicenow). This role plays a vital part in providing initial Tier II support to: Action intakes; Analyze/Troubleshoot issues; Perform basic and complex system configuration; Monitor integrations; EIB loads, Audit execution; and participate or lead varying internal and cross-functional projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and analytical professional to contribute to the success of our organization. This role will also have an additional test management component including managing testing, providing regular updates, consolidating testing results, metrics and defects for projects, releases, and enhancements.

  • Provide initial basic and complex Tier II support for HR system-related inquiries and issues; resolving in an effective and efficient manner according to applicable SLAs.
  • Execute mass load procedures for bulk requests, for example: accruals, bonuses, organizations, registrations/completions, certificates, and year end actions in both test and production environments.
  • Develop system admin procedures, guidelines, and documentation (requirements, configuration, test cases, SOPs) based on established practices and the ability to train others on processes and functionality.
  • Provide testing support for a variety of activities, including: data staging, patches, releases/upgrades, defect resolution or enhancements.
  • Serve as a testing consultant for functional users, technical staff, and business partners.
  • Provide assistance in integration monitoring and helping to resolve data issues.
  • Participate in regular audit and reporting activity.
  • Execute routine to complex back-office transactions escalated by Tier I team through ServiceNow ticketing platform.
  • Familiarity with global data privacy and compliance regulations as well as strong understanding of HR processes and data management.
Required
  • 3-5 years in depth system administration experience within any ERP/LMS (preference to Workday, Cornerstone, HR ServiceNow)
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and attention to detail skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be organized, flexible, deadline driven.
  • Creative thinking and strong dedication to customer service
  • Strong knowledge of human capital management tasks and HR processes
  • Strong technical aptitude
  • Demonstrated integrity in handling confidential employee information in a professional manner.
  • Participate in and lead small to medium department and cross commit projects/configurations.
  • Lead testing support & Knowledge of test management tools (preferably Jira)
  • Should be able to write test scripts for project testing
  • Knowledge of the system and processes to analyze, design & test
  • Partner with Stakeholder to understand the requirement and provide strong consultation on testing approach and strategies.
  • Opportunities to lead small to medium system enhancements
  • Should be able to provide support as primary for 2 or more functional Area/system
  • Should be able to solve for complex sup org, integration issues.
  • Should be able to generate and load various WD EIBs (Mass data).
Preferred:
  • Possess a cohesive team attitude and willingness to receive coaching.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office; Share point; MS Team; and Jira
  • Ability to learn quickly and adopt new changes
  • Should be able to effectively collaborate with functional team to test and implement any break fix or release items
