Work with UI and UX designers to design and build efficient workflows Build responsive and advanced UI components for the Dragonfruit Front End. Research cutting edge technologies to design responsive and scalable user experiences. Work with the backend team to interface the frontend with the backend functionality exposed via REST APIs Developer testing and work with the QA team to define the appropriate test cases to exercise the required functionality. Strong knowledge of Javascript / ES6 / Typescript, and of HTML5 and CSS3. Experience in building reusable UI components, ensuring that UI code base is scalable and maintainable. Good understanding of JSON and Web Services, Front end frameworks/libraries such as ReactJS, Redux, AntD, Web standards, Responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility, SEO. A demonstrated background in design is MANDATORY for this role. This could be UI/UX design (e.g. producing - not just consuming -FIGMA based flows, wireframes, prototypes and mockups), or Graphic Design (Adobe Photoshop and relate tools). We re looking for eye for detail and the design aesthetic. Experience with video streaming, web-sockets and performance optimisation is an added advantage. Experience with back-end development (Python) is an added advantage because this way you can develop complete features on your own including the corresponding REST APIs Experience with tools such as Git, NPM and Unit testing.
