Job Description
DESCRIPTION Lease abstraction process deals with documenting and accounting the properties leased by Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) department of Amazon. All the lease agreements Amazon is entering across the globe are received and accounted accurately to ensure lease expenses are charged to right Expense Ledger and Department Codes, periodic lease payments are made on time, lease extensions are raised in the predefined window, etc. Key job responsibilities A day at work: An ideal candidate is required to analyze Lease agreements documents to identify relevant accounting and non-accounting information (including lease tenure, monthly payout, related expense ledger account and depart code / cost centers, etc.), and key-in the information into the lease abstraction tool with 100% accuracy. Good analytical and reasoning skills are also required for this role to ascertain / calculate missing information based on the process information trackers, rule-books and Process Manuals. We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations: Virtual Location - DL | Virtual Location - HR | Virtual Location - TN BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor\'s degree in accounting and commerce (B. Com) - Knowledge of Excel at an advanced level - Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - 3+ years of lease abstraction process experience
