This position will perform a key role in providing financial business analysis, decision support and thought leadership. This includes developing financial forecasts and analyses, generating internal management reports, monitoring key performance indicators, and driving the scaling and automation of financial processes. You are a well-rounded problem solver with the ability to drive results in a high-energy growth environment.What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:Utilize an advanced understanding of multiple data structures, sources, and tools to guide business partners in the development of Power BI reports, which may include data visualization, business intelligence, or data collectionAbility to extrapolate linkages between large amounts of financial and operational data, generate insights and distill complex concepts into actionable informationEngage in cross-team collaboration with multiple business units, and with individuals with varying levels of analytical experience within those business unitsCollaborate with business users to help develop new reports and predictive modeling while automating and streamlining existing reportsInterview with internal business clients to obtain new analytic requirements and communicate required data model enhancements to ITEnsure proper BI standards, policies and procedures are followed in the design, development, and testing phasesLead and/or support the periodic reporting, forecasting, and budgeting process for short term and long term business planningEnsure timely and accurate analysis of key variances in monthly and quarterly KPIsAssume responsibility for the daily and monthly reporting jobsEngage in ad-hoc analyses and other special projects to understand business performanceIdentify ways to streamline internal financial processes and reduce the time burden for internal employeesDeliver all assignment work within quality standards and on time, often within tight deadlinesWhat you\xe2\x80\x99ll need:Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree is required. Major in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Engineering preferred. Masters or advanced degree a plusIndustry knowledge of BI landscape and latest emerging tools supporting descriptive to perspective analyticsFour years of corporate experience in financial planning and analysis, forecasting, and reporting capacity with at least 2 years of work experience leveraging Power BISuperior financial modeling and data analysis skills using Microsoft. Working knowledge of Hyperion Enterprise/Planning or other OLAP tools is a plus (Oracle/Essbase)Proficiency with DAX, Power Query(M)Strong communication skills, effective communication, presentation and influencing skills in a matrixed organizationAbility to extrapolate linkages between large amounts of financial and operational data, generate insights, and distill complex concepts into actionable informationAble to work independently and within a team structure to consistently deliver flawless work solutions within aggressive (and changing) time constraintsAbility to work effectively on multiple projects at the same timeKnowledge of US GAAP is a plusWho you are:A professional with at least 2 years of work experience leveraging Power BI and 4+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, forecasting, and reporting capacityComfortable speaking in front of groups and leadershipEnthusiastic about automation, learning and sharing new techniquesSelf-motivated and able to independently complete assignments with little to no oversight, as well as leverage resources when applicableConsistently high achiever marked by perseverance, humility, and a positive outlook in the face of challengeWhat we offer:In addition to an outstanding work environment with rapid advancement potential, you will be part of a team that is extremely collaborative and creative.
