Job Description

Job Purpose

The Sr. Financial Manager - 3PL/FTL will partner with the CEO and management team to implement financial strategies and oversee the financial actions of the company's logistics division. This role includes tracking cash flow, analysing financial strengths and weaknesses, and ensuring the division's financial success. The Sr. Financial Manager will perform effective risk management and plan the organisation's financial strategy, ranging from simple accounting to broad investment and banking operations.

Job Duties

• Develop and implement financial strategies in collaboration with the CEO and management team.
• Track and manage the division's cash flow and financial performance.
• Analyse financial strengths and weaknesses and develop strategies for improvement.
• Oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, investments, and banking operations.
• Perform risk management and plan the financial strategy of the organisation.
• Ensure complete financial control and sustainable growth of the division.
• Prepare reliable, current, and forecasted financial reports.
• Lead and manage the finance and accounting team.
• Develop and administer management control systems, including dashboards for key performance indicators.
• Oversee treasury management, liquidity, credit, and debt management.
• Identify and evaluate short-term and long-term investment opportunities.
• Maintain relations with banks, financial institutions, and investors.
• Negotiate terms and conditions to optimise performance.
• Ensure compliance with laws and company policies.
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee financial IT systems.
• Supervise all finance personnel, including controllers, treasurers, and accounting staff.
• Oversee the organisation's fundraising plans and capital structure.
• Develop and enforce policies and procedures to improve overall operations.
• Ensure the organisation can pass financial audits without significant issues.
• Prepare financial models, perform analysis, and support negotiations with third-party vendors.

Required QualificationsKnowledge

• In-depth understanding of financial management and accounting principles.
• Familiarity with investment and banking operations.
• Knowledge of compliance and legal requirements in finance.

Education

• MBA or a Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA, CFA, CMA, or similar certifications.
• Education from a top-tier A-level or B-level school is preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?60,000.00 - ?70,000.00 per month
