Key Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy Development:
o Design and implement comprehensive sales strategies to align with company
objectives.
o Identify new markets, industries, and key clients to foster business expansion.
o Establish sales targets, quotas, and performance metrics for the sales team.
2. Lead Generation & Prospecting:
o Research and identify potential clients and industries.
o Develop and execute effective prospecting campaigns using both outbound and
inbound strategies.
o Maintain a healthy and active sales pipeline.
3. Customer Relationship Management:
o Build and nurture strong relationships with key business clients.
o Serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring client satisfaction and addressing
their requirements.
o Develop long-term partnerships to increase loyalty and repeat business.
4. Sales Team Leadership:
o Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team, providing training and development
opportunities.
o Monitor performance and provide constructive feedback, ensuring accountability for
meeting sales targets.
5. Negotiation & Deal Closure:
o Lead negotiations to create mutually beneficial agreements with clients.
o Present solutions that address clients' business challenges and demonstrate the
company's value proposition.
o Successfully close high-value deals, ensuring profitability and sustainable
relationships.
6. Sales Forecasting & Reporting:
o Analyze sales performance and market trends to generate accurate sales forecasts.
o Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust strategies as needed.
o Use data-driven insights to enhance overall sales outcomes.
7. Collaboration with Internal Teams:
o Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to
ensure alignment with customer needs.
o Collaborate with finance and operations teams for seamless deal execution and
customer satisfaction.
o Provide feedback from clients to inform product or service development.
8. Market & Competitor Analysis:
o Stay informed about industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging market
opportunities.
o Adjust sales tactics to capitalize on competitive advantages in the market.
9. Contract & Agreement Management:
o Oversee the preparation, review, and signing of contracts.
o Ensure all legal and business standards are met during the negotiation and closing
process.
o Manage post-sale activities, including renewals, upgrades, and ongoing agreements.
10. Budgeting & Resource Management:
o Oversee the department's budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
o Allocate resources for prospecting, travel, and client engagements while maintaining
cost-effective operations.
11. Customer Feedback & Continuous Improvement:
o Gather and analyze client feedback to improve the sales process and customer
experience.
o Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance sales efficiency and
effectiveness.
12. Digital Marketing & Brand Development:
o Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute digital marketing
campaigns.
o Contribute ideas for brand promotion and advertisement strategies.
Requirements:
? Educational Qualification: MBA in Marketing.
? Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in the Spices Industry (preferred) or FMCG
sector.
? Other Conditions: Willingness to travel frequently.
