Overall Role Purpose Manage warehouse operations and delivering high service levels to ensure that the team delivers results in line with Customers agreed SLA in accordance with network procedures and defined standards.Key activities xe2x80xa2 Over all responsible for receipt, storage & dispatch management as per agreed standard Operating procedure. xe2x80xa2 Shall be single point contact from DHL to deal with day-today co-ordination with customer. Deal directly with the Customer. xe2x80xa2 Be fully aware of warehouse activities and take appropriate action to help meet company targets and standards. It is therefore essential that the successful applicant can adapt quickly to changing situations. xe2x80xa2 Manage Operations by planning and implementing strategies to ensure improvement in both service and performance TAT whilst managing costs. xe2x80xa2 Must have ability to initiate a proactive management style and anticipate the requirements of the customer. xe2x80xa2 Shall be fully accountable for regular cycle count, monthly wall to wall count and subsequent stock reconciliation to meet stock accuracy agreed with client. xe2x80xa2 Be able to introduce Continuous Improvement Programs along with the growing scope of work. xe2x80xa2 Should be sound with financial numbers and be able to co relate the numbers to operations. xe2x80xa2 Manage in a high pressure, changing environment with demands from both internal & external customers regionally. xe2x80xa2 Lead in all aspects of planning the total operation including managing potential problem areas and initiating remedial action related to warehousing and transportation. xe2x80xa2 Complete administration of warehouse staff/workers, contracted agencies. xe2x80xa2 Job allocation to warehouse team for efficient operation management. xe2x80xa2 Resource deployment for timely completion of assigned tasks of day-today activities. xe2x80xa2 Control & monitoring management for fixed roles and responsibilities of operation team. xe2x80xa2 Shall be accountable for timely MIS submission. xe2x80xa2 Shall lead in analyzing periodic KPI reports and reviewing the same with customer for preventive and corrective action. xe2x80xa2 Review the performance of staff under his direct supervision against KPIxe2x80x99s, taking corrective action when necessary. xe2x80xa2 Takes accountability of the continual development and appraisal of his entire team. xe2x80xa2 Shall be responsible for training , people development and regular motivation to the team. xe2x80xa2 Upkeep of facility. xe2x80xa2 Shall be accountable for Safety and SHE for the entire operations and people employed in the warehouse. Shall be accountable for conducting weekly / monthly meeting with the Customer/Cluster manager/ Head xe2x80xa2 Operation-region xe2x80xa2 Reports to the Cluster Manager-P&G contract. xe2x80xa2 Shift in-charge & other functional team such as Admin & inventory executive will directly report to this role. Adherence to customerxe2x80x99s SOP xe2x80xa2 Ensure that the SOPs are being followed and adhered to by warehouse. xe2x80xa2 Ensure SLA are met and actions to be taken to ensure all KPIs are met as agreed Safely and Quality Assurance xe2x80xa2 Ensure safe working practices and environment within the shift. Participate in DESC quality policy and initiatives e.g. ISO accreditation.
