Inventory planning - planning safety stock levels across the regional distribution centers and billing depots. Monitor the levels, and plan timely replenishments. Periodically monitor slow or non-moving inventory and plan for the consumption
Distribution planning - planning the accurate distribution of produced goods across the country to ensure nil stock outs and at the same time avoiding piling of excess inventory.
Coordination - coordinate with stakeholders such as factory dispatch teams, DC and depot teams, demand/production planners, sales and marketing teams for various activities.
Logistics - managing optimum primary freight spent, avoid detention. Coordinate with freight providers for efficiency, cost and tracking, speed up delivery time, alternate delivery routes or negotiate quicker turnarounds.
Demand anticipation - anticipate demand by constantly analyzing the sales trend and very close interactions with field sales team, regional logistic teams.
Capacity availability - assess the existing storage capabilities and plan inventory. In case of crisis, research possible solutions to store the items that will meet budget, security and location needs.
