Apurvakriti Infrastructure is looking for Sr. Executive-Procurement based at HQ (New Delhi) having 7 Years of experience in Procurement of OHE & S&T Materials for Railway Projects. Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Leads procurement team to ensure delivery of materials, supplies, equipment to meet project requirements within budget and on schedule. 2. Liaises with the Project Manager, senior management, coordinators and is the primary procurement interface between the Customer, the projects and suppliers. 3. Manages the overall procurement activities including: purchasing, expediting, supplier surveillance and inspection, logistics, vendor evaluation, contract formation and administration. 4. Develop and implement the overall procurement procedures and plans for meeting project goals. 5. Counsel, assist and direct subordinates in accomplishing the project procurement objectives. Identify, develop and implement training to enable staff to more efficiently and effectively perform assigned functions. Encourage and promote innovation in obtaining procurement objectives. 6. Develop & refine procurement systems as required. 7. Prepare reports on procurement status for review by Sr. management. ESSENTIAL SKILLS / COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: 7 years in Procurement in Railways Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in \'reading\' the market. Proficient in the use of computers and commonly-used business software. Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English is required. A person of integrity who is trusted by others and consistently honours their commitments. Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to convey information and ideas to individuals and groups, and make presentations when required. Talent in negotiations and networking. Good knowledge of supplier or third-party management software. Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers. Experience in collecting and analysing data. Strong leadership capabilities. BSc/Master degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration preferred. Experience in Rail projects is must.
