Apart from this, GAVL also has a joint venture with the ACI group of Bangladesh for animal feed business in Bangladesh.For more information on the Company, please log on to .Job Responsibility:\xc2\xb7 Responsible for Sourcing of Agri Commodities for multiple plants in GAVL Animal Feed Business.\xc2\xb7 Conduct Research and Analysis on domestic and international markets for making effective buying decisions.\xc2\xb7 Demonstrate enterprising sourcing acumen to reduce Total Cost of Ownership on consistent basis.\xc2\xb7 Formulate long and short-term procurement strategies by identifying gaps in Demand and Supply of commodities.\xc2\xb7 Conduct detailed on-field crop surveys by travelling to source/producing markets and direct farmer interactions.\xc2\xb7 Contribute to business success by meeting On Time Delivery targets of RM and Ensure continuity of operations at all times.\xc2\xb7 Collaborate and partner for Cross Functional Stakeholder Management to lead, influence and facilitate effective execution of sourcing strategies.\xc2\xb7 Continuously scan the markets for identification and introduction of new Raw materials.

• Must respect Organizational value systems and ensure compliances without requiring formal supervision to meet all control and reporting objectives.

\xc2\xb7 Leverage GODREJ strengths in expanding a competitive vendor base and establish long term relationships.

• New Vendor development.
• Creation of Purchase Orders, Follow up for delivery completion, payment, etc.

\xc2\xb7 Driving Supplier Performance Management Program to gain Strategic Alignments.Qualification & Experience:

• Graduate/Post graduate (preferable) with prior relevant experience of min 4 to 5 years in similar industries

• Expertise in Analysis, market intelligence, strategic sourcing and supplier performance management

• Knowledge of business applications like SAP MM, E-Auction platforms, Mobile Apps etc would be desirable

• Willing to travel extensively across geographies
