  • Continuously monitor pan India material, services and fleet procurement spends vis-\xc3\xa0-vis budget to capture variations and develop actions plans to bring spends under control
  • Support in adherence to departmental budget
  • Responsible for the implementation of policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all materials / services procurement in the organization
  • Identify annual materials and service procurement requirements as per the overall strategy and operational requirements; Develop an annual plan to meet such requirements and seek the approval Head - Procurement, Real Estate and Administration on the same
  • Ensure that procurement of the materials, services and fleet is as per the approved annual plan through regional real estate and procurement teams
  • Responsible for identification and empanelment of vendors for procurement of various materials, services and fleet for the company
  • Support the regional procurement and real estate teams in contract negotiations, where required
  • Maintain a central repository of all materials /service / fleet contracts and drive their administration as per the defined policy and guidelines
  • Responsible for adherence to Blue Darts standard contracts format; Approve all contracts with deviations in standard contracts format after taking opinion from the Legal department
  • Prepare a comprehensive database for all vendors / contractors / fleet vendors (name of party, products/services supplied, VAT, CST, PAN no., price/quality/delivery, payment terms and conditions etc.) and keep it updated on an ongoing basis
