Job Description


Financial Management:

  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, including the development of detailed financial models and projections.
  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure optimal financial health.
Accounting Operations:
  • Supervise day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
  • Implement and maintain robust internal controls and financial procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulations.
Financial Reporting:
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, including variance analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit process and ensure timely submission of financial reports.
Strategic Planning:
  • Collaborate with the finance team and senior management to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company\xe2\x80\x99s goals.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic business decisions and operational improvements.
Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal financial regulations, including tax compliance and reporting.
  • Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and industry regulations, implementing necessary changes to maintain compliance.
Team Leadership:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide guidance to support professional growth and development.
Project Involvement:
  • Support financial aspects of key projects, including cost analysis, investment evaluation, and financial impact assessment.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including engineering and operations, to ensure financial considerations are integrated into project planning and execution.
System Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the finance function to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Lead or participate in the implementation of new financial systems or technologies.
RequirementsQualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA, CMA, or other relevant certifications preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in accounting and finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial role. Experience in the manufacturing sector, specifically within robotics or AI, is highly desirable.
  • Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
