Job Responsibilities :

Execute daily maintenance activities, like Preventive, predictive & scheduled maintenance activities and troubleshooting activities on DCS, ESD and FGS Control Systems, Package PLCs and Field Instrumentation at Onshore Terminal & skill sets for trouble shooting of Hardware and softwares of various control systems; Co-ordinate & Organize to Ensure High Availability and Reliability of field Instruments and control systems, Develop, Supervise & Maintain an effective Inventory & Spares Management., Trouble-shooting skills for handling equipment related problems as part of Shift Maintenance activites, contributing to Plant Improvement programs in terms of Safety, Reliability, Availability, Operability and Co-ordination with the other departments and external agencies.

Job Accountabilities (duties and responsibilities).

# Availability of field Instruments, Package PLCs and control systems; Planning and execution of Configuration & Maintenance activities on DCS, ESD & FGS Control Systems and Proces measuring instruements & Valves; Functional testing of logics of process units connected to PLC#s and ESD; Carrying out Shift maintenance activities

# Troubleshooting & Functional Testing; # Planning and Execution of calibration & tuning activities on Analysers, PID controllers and other measuring Instruments; # Inspection of Field Auxiliary Rooms, Analyzer Houses and updating the check sheets; # Carry out RCA for failures and implement the recommendations. # Quick trouble shooting on emergency during the silent hours; Maintaining latest back-ups

# Reduce Mean time to Repair (MTTR); Ensure adherence to Preventive Maintenance Schedule; availability through effective planning for necessary resources as Spares, Services, Special tools & tackles etc.; Ensure Zero Breakdown

# HSE Compliance / Audit: Conducting tool box talks; Follow Permit to Work system; Ensure compliance with safety regulations and Standards; Co-ordinate for internal and external audits; Liquidation of audit recommendations; Adhere to OMS requirements

# Equipment Reliability Improvement; Review of MDR, Specifications, compatibility etc.; Preparation of formats, procedures and documents for the implementation of Integrated Management System; Implementation of activities mentioned in MOC; Routine checks on Control Systems and Process Measurign Instruments

# Documentation: Prepare MIS Reports & Status Papers.; Maintain jobs history in SAP; Record of LLF checklist; Record checklist for maintenance activities and upload in SAP; Report on spares & consumables;

Main Purpose

Sr. Engineer -Instrumentation * Responsible for planning, maintenance, inspection & troubleshooting of field instrumentation. Testing & measuring instrument calibration & Lab testing and all related Instrumentation activities at Remote well sites and GGS area of CBM Project.

• Operate and maintain the SAP PM schedule for field Instrumentation, F&G devices and Package, CTM, GC, Analyzers (CEMS, OIW, Moisture).
• Basic to advance level of maintenance & troubleshooting skills on SIEMENS safety PLC S7-400, RTUs (Preferred Emerson, Yokogawa & Honeywell RTU), Safety PLC including HMI & SCADA interface, maintenance & logic validation.

Job Accountabilities (duties and responsibilities). * RCA\'s (Root Cause Analysis) for equipment and spares failures with execution of reliability measures.

• Instrumentation system (Field & OT network) availability & reliability data compilation on monthly basis.
• External audit compliance & execution of actionable observations with-in the stipulated timelines.
• Coordinate with OEM and vendors for obsolete hardware & firmware up-gradation for final control elements & OT network components comprising all nodes.
• Critical spares and spares inventory analysis to ensure the reduction of non-moving inventory along with 100% availability of critical spares.
• Carry out all planned and unplanned maintenance of Field Instrumentation, PLC & OT network works as per standard maintenance procedures and specifications.
• Provide guidance and development of junior staff technicians and work closely with them.
• Self-driven approach for MoC execution, minor projects and brown field project execution in all aspects.
• Carry out overhauling and calibrating the control valve, shutdown valves, PCV/PRV, MOV, I/P Converter etc.
• Liaison closely with Installation manager and Operations/Production manager along with cross functional coordination with Electrical, Mechanical, Civil & other departments.
• Troubleshooting and identifying Instruments upsets and failures in a timely manner to ensure the safety and reliability of plant operations.
• Responsible for all instrument and control system regular maintenance activity planning, Risk assessments (HITRA), preparation and execution with support of contract technicians. Ensure total compliance in HSE procedures and practices at all areas.

Skills Required (Knowledge and Skills) * Ability to read & understand Instrumentation engineering drawing and documents.

• Familiar with Oil & Gas process control Instrumentation and communication protocols in Industrial instrumentation.
• Hands on experience in PLCs, SCADA, RTU, DCS, Network switches & OT network with basic knowledge of Functional safety standards.
• Familiar with Fire & Gas monitoring and protection systems in Oil & Gas industries.
• Working knowledge of oil & gas Instrumentation codes & standards. (eg: IEC 60529, IEC 60079, ISO 5167 & 5168, IEC 61508, 61511)
• Must be team oriented and have a willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
• Experience in Calibration of Flow, level, Pressure, Temperature measurements, controllers and control valves, shutdown valves etc.
• Involved in plant maintenance, commissioning, shutdown & start up activities of GDU, Gas compressors, gas engines, screw compressors & reciprocating compressors.
• Working knowledge of SAP Preventive maintenance and material management modules.

Qualification:

• Full-time Bachelor\'s degree or higher qualification in Electronics Instrumentation & control/Electronics & Communication/Electronics & Telecommunication

Education Requirement :

Graduate in Instrumentation Engineering ,(BE / B Tech )

Experience Requirement :

# Overall Experience # 6- 10 years

# Specific Experience - Minimum 4/5 years# experience on PLC, MCMS and ESD Systems

Skills & Competencies :

5 years in PLC, MCMS and ESD Systems Engineering/Maintenance/Configuration
