Also we are in process to localize compressors in India.To achieve this, we are looking for experienced Supply Chain Professionals who possess knowledge and experience in sourcing & procurement function with focus on sand casting parts and other package parts suited to Project Driven Organization.Job description

• Localization compressor casting & other parts

• Supplier development - typically sand casting vendors with machining, pattern making to be developed. Extensive work by visiting & making mutual agreements with foundries as due to project nature we are having maximum variety and less quantity of nodular iron castings.
• Visiting foundries and making comparison of foundries on various parameters so that selection of vendor will become easier.
• Liaison with foundry, machining vendor, pattern vendor for their various issues till logical & mutual closure of issues.
• Coordinate with core development team for engg related issues, coordinate with quality team to resolve all quality related issues for castings.

• PO Management till payment & site issues
• P2P Process owner from enquiry to PO for core & package parts not limited to castings, machined parts, HS/LS bearings, impellers,seals & seal systems, bought outs like motor, turbine, pumps, valves, PLCs, VMS, CCC, instrument parts, subcontracting

• Vendor development & Vendor performance management - leading & setting relevant processes for various parts.

• Sourcing digitization-initiate & lead different digitalization projects in sourcing which will improve sourcing efficiency.

• Sourcing KRA & management reporting

OTD (on time delivery), FTR (First time right), Pre-Post Cost savings - prepare & maintain own tracking sheet and maintain those KRAs.

• To support for sales function for Prebid sales to get offers from vendors and to negotiate best possible extent
• Supporting monthly reporting activities
• To participate and contribute sourcing side in various meetings like Project Review Meetings, Toolbox Talk Meetings etc

• Compliance management- lead various internal and external audits & ensure compliance of audit open points.

• Sustainability initiatives
• Embrace sustainable goal of group to reduce Co2 emission and also explore product circularity as per divisional set goals.

• Global Sourcing assignments
• Global sourcing from India for plants located outside India.
• Work as per "The Atlas Copco Way" and " Business code of practice "
• Responsibilities not limited to mentioned here but as per assigned by superiors timely as per changing business need.

To succeed, you will needExperience requirements

• Sound technical knowledge about product, procurement, supply chain, commercial and technical acumen to execute tailor-made projects having experience of sand casting buying experience in compressors/ pump and expansion turbines business.
• Experience of Project Procurement of casting, machining, packaging parts like motors, seal panels, lube oil consoles, valves, fabrication etc would be added advantage.
• Strong interpersonal communication
• Experience desired will be in the range of of 8 to 10 years.

Knowledge

• SAP MM and MS office expertise required
• Strong awareness of foundries operation, commercial contract conditions and supply chain knowledge
• Sound knowledge in new supplier development, manufacturing process, global supply chain, planning and system will be an added advantage.

Educational requirements

• BE/B Tech/Diploma (with more experience) in Mechanical/Production/Metallurgy/Industrial Engineering.
• Be fluent English and other Indian languages.
