Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• Lead Packaging & integration of Vehicle systems, evaluation of concepts considering vehicle targets in terms of weight, cost, attributes, vehicle variants/ platform modularity.
• Lead DMU packaging reviews, Concerns resolution, Preparation of DMU reports & Sign off.
• Vehicle packaging and DMU sign off considering existing homologation requirements and future upcoming regulations.
• Ensure EN / PR release, EBOM, Installation drg release through PLM and track and coordinate other aggregate releases
• Participate in vehicle benchmarking, Vehicle Target setting and Cascading the same to System level targets.
• Co-ordination between stake holders, system leads, Program team, Proto & Validation, Mfg, CDMM etc.
• Support in Build and Validation and lead CFT in concern resolution of the same.

Experience

Relevant Experience 4-6 years

B.E --
Mechanical, Automobile

General Requirements

• Vehicle system level functioning/design of Commercial Vehicle Systems, Categories & Application
• Knowledge of Frame design and Key design principles of other aggregates
• Knowledge on manufacturing processes, plant assembly layouts
• DMU (Digital Mock Up), 3D modelling, Assembly, Drafting (vehicle layouts)
• Hands on Experience on Catia & Team center PLM
• Exposure to Homologation requirements of Commercial Vehicles CAE, Testing & Validation
• Hand on experience on coordination with of overall product development team including all aggregates, attributes, design and verification/validation
• Knowledge of product complexity/modularity management, manufacturing methods
• Knowledge of MPDS, APQP, DFMEA, DFA, DFM, DFS, QC Tools
