Align Technology is looking for a Sr. Engineer, SFDC as part of the growing SFDC team in Americas. This exciting role would be part of a culture that is helping to improve lives every day through digital dentistry. This role will be part of Align Technology\'s goal to deliver our clear aligners (Invisalign ) and 3D scanners (iTero ) to our customers. The Sr. Engineer, SFDC is responsible for designing and developing commercial Salesforce solutions for America\'s region while working in close collaborations with the Global Teams. As a Sr. Engineer, SFDC, the candidate will be a contributor in the execution of the strategic direction for the company, the success of this position will be measured by the usability, quality, and timeliness of applications delivery. You will participate in design and implementation of commercial applications. The ideal candidate is expected to have proven extensive experience in developing scalable and secure applications on Salesforce platform. In this role, you will Compassionate leader with excellent communication skills and are comfortable leading conversations with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Develop innovative new tools and features on the Salesforce platform. Assist with integrations involving third-party APIs and implementation of other products across the company. Take ownership of issues through to resolution - including troubleshooting, internal communication and providing meaningful feedback on a regular basis. Liaise and work closely with the internal teams on raised technical issues and product roadmap changes/new features. Support a culture of collaboration, respect, engineering/operational excellence, and regular delivery of customer value. Mentor other developers, ensuring the quality of their code and designs. Ensure application development principles, standards, and best practices are followed for each project. Research current technology trends to provide input on how they may influence overall enterprise architecture. A long-standing habit of continuous learning, and applying new tech, architectures, and methodologies to improve both your team and your codebase. In this role, you\'ll need A \'can do\' attitude, high energy, and creativity are required along with organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks. Strong interpersonal, oral, written, and visual communication skills, with ability to present findings concisely and effectively. Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, program management, and marketing about objectives, requirements, and design constraints. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor\'s Degree and/or equivalent experience. 6-8 years of total IT experience with at least 5+ years of Salesforce project development experience. Responsible for advising on the technical considerations of the ongoing design, development, and maintenance for salesforce projects. Demonstrated experience resolving technical defects and triaging issues. Demonstrated experience with advanced Salesforce.com development tools and techniques, e.g. Apex language, Force.com custom development, triggers, controllers, JavaScript, Force.com SOAP and REST APIs, JSON, sObjects, SOQL, SOSL, Chatter API, UI API, outbound messaging, Lightning Components and Visualforce pages. Build integrations between salesforce and external applications using REST, SOAP APIs, Auth and Single Sign-On, Languages SOQL, JavaScript, HTML, Apex, CSS. Experience using LWC to create delightful user experiences with integrations. Experience in end-to-end project implementation. Lightning, Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud Experience. Experience building web-service/ RESTful integrations with Salesforce. Experience in developing batch jobs, Asynchronous apex, lightning flows. Experience on integrating Salesforce with third-party applications using web services like SOAP or REST API with OAuth. Experience working with SFDX and CI/CD technologies. Experience in Agile development environment. The ability to work independently but does not hesitate to work collaboratively. Creative problem-solving skills and a strong work ethic. Experience in using Git source control. Demonstrated teamwork skills with a solid analytical and statistical background.
