Job Description

Successful candidate will be responsible for QE deliverables for Xperi TV-OS and Connect Car cloud services He will be giving technical guidance for developing automation frameworks, ensuring 100% automated test coverage, testing REST APIs based microservices and determining the load and scale aspects through testing Will be part of highly talented team responsible for continuously improving efficiency, scalability, availability and resiliency of the cloud hosted services Develop/enhance automation frameworks to meet the growing needs of high automated coverage Develop robust automated test cases and make it part of CI/CD pipelines Work on cloud infrastructures and technologies Monitor and enhance multiple micro services availability. Develop Test Strategy, Test Plans for new feature development. Develop Functional and non-functional test suites, including performance, resiliency, and scale tests. Ensure high-quality deliverables. Collaborate with different stakeholders like Architects, development members and other engineering teams. Participate in design reviews, documentation reviews, sprint planning, and sprint demos. Work with high-velocity scrum teams. 5 to 8 years of experience in software QA methodologies, tools and processes and Agile/Scrum development process Should have worked more on developing backend tools or frameworks to test Rest APIs, microservices, data migration, failover scenarios, blue-green deployment Good understanding of the REST APIs, request-response structures, error and status codes Good Knowledge of SQL and scripting Ability to build distributed systems for performance and scale testing Experience in working or testing with distributed and big data solutions and mid tier caches, such as DynamoDB, Elastic Search, Kafka Knowledge on the DevOps activities Experience with Amazon AWS or similar cloud providers Experience in industry best practices in SW development processes: Unit testing, OO design, code reviews etc Hands on with Linux commands and shell scripts Good knowledge on building and publishing CI/CD pipelines Advanced coding skills Excellent problem solver Hands-on Experience on Git, Terraform and Kubernete.
