We can offer you the following tasks: • Lead engagements across functions with a focus on Functional Safety, which includes HAZOP, Risk Analysis.
• Translate the results of Hazop, SIL Risk Analysis and SIL target assessment reports into functional specifications for designing the Safety Instrumented System (SIS) for Steam Turbine Generator packages.
• Support Engineering teams during Order Fulfilment in preparation of SIL risk assessments and in the development and validation of safety controls.
• Create & review documents like - SIL calculation, SIL risk assessment, SIL assessment summary, safety requirements specification, SIS validation reports, SIS configuration list and certificates.
• Lead design reviews for reliability, safety, and compliance programs for overall plant, including detail reviews of equipment in Steam Turbine Generator systems.
• Support Engineering teams in safe design during new product development by designing & integrating controls/electrical/systems related Safety Instrumented System (SIS) for Steam Turbine Product Line.
• Engage with external parties like Customers, Suppliers & packagers to audit and implement Functional Safety requirements.
• Align with global functional safety team to meet the functional safety expertise.

You can help us with these qualifications: • Education : Bachelors or Master's degree in Electrical or Instrumentation & Controls Engineering
• Experience : 5-8 years of experience in various aspects of Hazop & Product Safety
• Skills : Experience in automation technology in the field of plant construction In-depth knowledge of PCS7 or Allen Bradley or other control platforms
• Sound knowledge of ATEX
• Problem analysis and resolution skills (supporting HAZOP & SIL Risk Assessment reviews). Good knowledge in IEC & IEEE codes and standards as well as working knowledge of international design codes and standards, such as IEEE, NEC, ISA, IEC, NFPA, EN, CE, ATEX, EMC, ANSI, API, DIN etc.
• Ability to interpret country/regional Functional Safety codes and translate requirements into design solutions for product and plant application systems.
• Experience in Electrical Panels, Instrumentation and Control Systems.
• Knowledge of instrument and control systems for industries like Oil & Gas, Chemicals or other Process Industries.
• Strong technical writing and presentation skills for leading design reviews, developing study reports.
• Good presentation & communication skills with various stakeholder groups around the globe due to regular interface with third party inspectors, MAN ES and Customer's engineering resources in controls, electrical, and mechanical disciplines as well as project management and commercial team members.
• Preferably from field of rotating machinery OEM, Consultants, EPC. Installations commissioning , troubleshooting of turbomachines like compressors and turbines
