Job Description

:

Bachelors in electronics/ E&TC/ Instrumentation engineering

10+ Years of Experience in SW architecture design on different Embedded Platforms used across different Domains (Industrial Domain is must).

Experience - Should have a proven track record of designing & developing End-to-End Systems. Specially PLC and digital and analog IOs firmware development

Programming Languages - Must have expert-level knowledge on Embedded C, C++.

Operating System Concepts - Must have deep understanding on multithreading environment deployed on RTOS & Linux, QNX, VxWorks based platform (BSP board bring up, Kernel customization, filesystem, Memory profiling Tools, Performance monitoring Tools etc.)

Embedded HW - Must have good understanding on Analog, Digital circuits. Should be able to understand hardware schematics and datasheets and RS232, RS485, I2C, SPI.

System Engineering - Must know the system engineering tool usage to provide traceability with overall system engineering requirements and validations.

Protocol understanding - TCPIP, Profibus, ProfiNet, PLC, DNP3, Modbus. (Good to have experience over ProfiSafe)

Process understanding: Must have good knowledge on Product development Life Cycle, Agile methodology, Versioning Control & Automation

Tools Knowledge: Version Control(Git, Perforce), Test Equipment (Oscilloscope, DMM), Protocol analyzer, IDEs, static code analysis tools

Testing - Unit Testing, System integration Testing, Test plan creation.

Cybersecurity - Fair understanding of cyber security threat and resolution concepts, and Awareness with Secure coding standards.

Safety - Fair understanding of functional safety, IEC 61850 and SIL.
