You will develop creative solutions to challenging problems associated with the design of our new and existing infusion
system product portfolio. The successful candidate will possess strong technical capabilities, an excitement and energy for
product development, and a passion for their work and the impact it has on saving and sustaining the lives of patients.
xc2xb7 Defines design requirements and hardware specifications based on customer or user requirements.
xc2xb7 Contributes to the development and documentation of electronic system architectures.
xc2xb7 Creates designs of analog and digital electronic circuit schematics for microcontroller based systems, meeting performance objectives.xc2xb7 Good experience in designing product with multiple power sources like AC/DC, DC/DC, Battery Pack, AA Battery.
xc2xb7 Analyzes circuits using calculation and simulation methods to assess performance limits, effects of environmental and load stresses, and timing interfaces to ensure consistent performance in safety critical applications. Good knowledge on Power Integrity, Power Sequencing, LTSpice, Pspice.
xc2xb7 Ensures successful integration of electrical design with mechanical and software elements of the system.
xc2xb7 Completes deliverables related to design of systems and sub-systems of the overall electrical architecture.
xc2xb7 Develops, modifies, and approves electrical design documentation, specifications and drawings.
xc2xb7 Defines appropriate test methods to verify designs meet their performance requirements.
xc2xb7 Advises the layout of circuit assemblies to meet emissions and immunity performance requirements and design for manufacturability guidelines.
xc2xb7 Transitions products to manufacturing and ensures robust products and manufacturing processes.
xc2xb7 Develops and maintains an effective and corroborative working relationship with internal and external development partners.
xc2xb7 Resolves competing constraints between interrelated functions (engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, regulatory, marketing, etc.) required to deliver the product to market.
xc2xb7 Executes protocols and testing required to validate the safety and effectiveness of the design(s).
xc2xb7 Executes the troubleshooting and problem solving efforts related to electrical aspects of devices and associated
systems.
xc2xb7 Creates and communicates design/test plans, tasks, deliverables and status. Manages time and resources to meet committed schedule milestones.Qualifications
xc2xb7 Graduate or Post Graduate in Electrical or Electronics or related Engineering and 8-12 years of experience. Prior experience in infusion pump domain is a plus.
xc2xb7 A demonstrated track record in electromechanical hardware development, preferably medical devices or other highly regulated products such as military hardware.
xc2xb7 Knowledge and experience in design of embedded microcontroller based electronics devices, including FPGA based, digital and analog design.
xc2xb7 Experience testing electronic devices to meet immunity and emissions requirements
xc2xb7 Knowledge and experience using CAD systems for printed circuit board schematic design and layout (Altium Designer, preferred) and data acquisition software (LabVIEW)
xc2xb7 Knowledge of standards such as IEC 60601, IEC 61010, UL, ANSI and ASTM
xc2xb7 Specific experience in design and development of sensing subsystems highly desirable.A Career That Matters
