Job Summary:



We are looking for a Lifecycle Services Sr. Engineer/Asst. Manager with a broad experience within process industry and automation projects to cover the following categories: Implementing Sure Service Contracts of Ovation Control System and Industrial Software Solutions. Working with the Service Leader, you will look after all Service execution activities of designated install base customers covering Mumbai, Central and Western region, to achieve the agreed sales revenue for the designated product lines and solutions.

You will partner with Lifecycle Services organization of Power & Water Solution business unit.


In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Hold detailed knowledge of DCS, PLC, Asset Management system, RTU, SCADA and having prior knowledge of Service/ Installation & Commissioning.
• Earlier experience in dealing with power plant customers.
• Power plant automation concepts and appropriate interpretation of requirements
• Owning of Induvial booking /Regions POR/ Target.
• Responsible for Installed Base Sales (KOB 3) for West Region, Mumbai and Central Region. Achieve budgets for KOB3 incremental Business.
• Actively engage with the IBS sales team to target existing customers with various solution offerings like Evergreen Programs, Upgradation/Migration and Expansion leads/pursuits. Work closely with Region's Leadership.
• Lead generation build funnel and convert into orders for Sophisticated Solutions like MHM, Cyber Security, Simulators and Industrial Software solutions etc.
• Preparing optimum techno commercial quote for renewal of Sure Service contracts in consultation with Sales and proposal team; within defined period.
• Technical presentations and Demos at customer locations.
• Driven displacement of Offsite and another Non-Ovation System in existing /Install base customer campus.
• Work ethically in compliance with Emerson standards.
• Should be able to work independently.
• Work as an individual contributor and as a team member and gel with the existing team

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Knowledge of Preventive Maintenance on DCS / PLC.
• Proficient in PC skills and application software like MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio etc.
• Understanding of project life cycle from concept to commissioning.
• Understanding of customer need and translating it into technical solution.
• Analytical thinker with excellent Communication, presentation, interpersonal and prioritization skills; well-organized and detail oriented.
• Excels at self-managing workload and implementing multiple concurrent projects to meet deadlines.
• Ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization to meet milestones.
• Ability to deal with conflicting priorities from internal stakeholders and demonstrate resilience and strong influencing skills to manage these effectively.
• Confidence and interpersonal/communication skills to work and influence at all levels.
• Experience of working in matrix organization.
Willing to travel in the region (more than 60% of the time)


Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• A minimum 4-6 years of relevant work experience in Lifecycle Service at install base customers, development & engagement with strong experience of working & customer engagements in the entire region.
Excellent knowledge of at least one Distributed Control System. Hands on Experience of Commissioning, Maintenance, troubleshooting on OVATION DCS will be an added advantage.
