- Electrical System Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and diagnostics of electrical systems in heavy vehicles to identify issues and potential problems. Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Repair and Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair electrical faults, including wiring problems, malfunctioning components, and system failures. Utilize diagnostic tools and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
- Component Installation: Install, upgrade, or replace electrical components and systems in heavy vehicles as needed. This includes batteries, alternators, starters, lighting systems, HVAC systems, and electronic control units (ECUs).
- System Upgrades and Modifications: Collaborate with engineering teams or vehicle manufacturers to implement upgrades, modifications, or customizations to electrical systems based on performance requirements or regulatory changes.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards governing electrical systems in heavy vehicles. Implement safety measures and protocols to prevent accidents, electrical hazards, and equipment failures.
