:Application Engineer- Order Engineering TeamThis position is accountable for, but not limited to:xc2xb7 Layout and configuration of switchgear.xc2xb7 Design of control schemes, utilizing PLCs and/or relays, to accomplish automated transfer operations.xc2xb7 Creation of electrical one line, elevation drawing, schematics and wiring diagrams using AutoCAD.xc2xb7 Design of ground fault protective schemes, including those involving multiple sources.xc2xb7 Generation of bills of material, and modification of standard assemblies as required to suit the application.xc2xb7 Interpreting customer requirements by reading customer documents such as customer one line, specification, layout drawing etcxc2xb7 Ensures assignments are within design, budget and schedule limitations.xc2xb7 Communicates project concerns and suggestions, both verbally and in writing, with the Project Manager and Engineering Managerxc2xb7 Participates as needed in proposal acceptance reviews, offering acceptance or recommendations for improvement on the systems engineering scope of work and labor hours estimated on the proposed project.xc2xb7 Provide virtual technical support for shop floor for the orders engineered.xc2xb7 Take up stretched assignments as and when needed.xc2xb7 Should be able to work on Shift- Flexible timings support United states SE-shop floorxc2xb7 Minimal travel may be required.Required Competencies:xc2xb7 Strong basic Electrical Engineering knowledge.xc2xb7 Good verbal and written communication skills.xc2xb7 Excellent interpersonal and customer relation skills.xc2xb7 Excellent problem resolution skills.xc2xb7 Ability to interpret basic front elevation, one-line, and schematic drawings.xc2xb7 To work in a virtual environment. (without seeing the product physically, as Manufacturing Plants are in North America).xc2xb7 Should be team player and be able to work in a multicultural team.xc2xb7 Good interpersonal and customer relation skills.Preferred Competencies:xc2xb7 Knowledge of low voltage switchboard / switchgear design, installation, and Applicationxc2xb7 Experience using AutoCAD.xc2xb7 Familiarity with Relays & Its function.xc2xb7 Knowledge on UL standards (UL1558 , UL891 ) is added advantage.Behavioral Competencies:xc2xb7 To be professional and ethical at all times.
