Requirements

Key Accountabilities:

• Work with development teams to translate scalability, performance, reliability, and functional requirements to virtualized/cloud computing solutions.
• Develop testing strategies and performing tests to reveal viability of cloud deployment solutions.
• Administration and management of cloud computing clusters.
• Assist engineer and development teams with the deployment of virtualized software services.
• Develop tools to check and report performance and security metrics for virtualized resources.
• Support for the services and applications that are critical to the organization's business needs.
• Identify technology challenges/problems, evaluate & implement innovative solution by using appropriate tools
• Make all the functions of development, testing, deployment, operations, and monitoring work together.
• Do incremental code, build, test, and deployments by streamlining execution and minimize errors.
• Develop custom workflows and use automation by coding and scripting.
• Detect early all the errors, bugs, and issues to tackle them and solve them.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to tackle complex security and infrastructure problems
• Implement Continuous Integration and Continuous delivery process with the help of tools such as GIT, Jenkins, and Maven, etc

Education and experience:

• 8+ years working in software development on a variety of complex environments/projects.
• Minimum 5+ years of hand on experience as a DevOps engineer or in a similar role
• Proficiency with Git and GitHub workflows and fixing engineering processes wrt to DevOps
• Must have work experience with containerization platforms such as Kubernetes, PKS, Docker etc
• IAC tools experience with any of terraform, Ansible, Saltstack, Puppet, Chef, Cloud Formation Templates
• Understanding of C#/.Net/.Net core/SQL software development process/environment (.Net + SQL server + azure).
• Application performance analysis and monitoring.
• Experience in Azure services like Azure DevOps, Function App (Dot Net Core), Logic Apps, ADF, Storage Accounts, Azure SQL, App Services, Azure Security roles etc.
• Good experience in configuration management for CI/CD environment wrt build, release, and deployment including Data Pipeline.
• Hands-on experience with Maven and Jenkins for the CI/CD DevOps pipeline process, coding & scripting languages such as Ruby, Pearl, bash, python, power shell etc
• Knowledge of best practices of development, testing, operations, production, deployment, and monitoring.
• Good to have knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate)
