Citigroup ICG- Securities Services Technology- Infrastructure and Platform management team is looking for a strong Dev Ops Engineer with Infrastructure / Delivery Project management experience who Designs, builds, and maintains a stable and efficient infrastructure to optimize service delivery across Production, QA, and Dev environments. Key responsibilities Primary responsibility is to manage capacity to provide Stable, Scalable and Highly available systems by partnering with Production Support and Development leads. Monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous integration, packaging, and deployment of code. Implements automated infrastructure capabilities like backups, security tools, monitoring, creating and standardizing Infrastructure as Code. Creating automation templates, standards and out of the box tools to create a consistent DevOps approach to improve all phases of the process and ensure end-to-end quality across functions. Will be responsible for monitoring server and application performance using one or more Application Performance Monitoring tools: New Relic, Dynatrace, App dynamics. Will be responsible for CI/CD pipeline build, improvement, and management. Design, build, and deliver cloud computing solutions, hosted services, and underlying software infrastructure. Take full ownership of the DevOps discipline and be responsible for managing all server/infrastructure related issues. Work with engineers on the design, deployment and continuous improvement of important infrastructure services (i.e., logging, monitoring and alerting). Support and troubleshoot scalability, high availability, performance, monitoring, backup and restores of different environments. Support and troubleshoot product and infrastructure issues in production environments. Evaluate new tools, technologies, and processes to improve speed, efficiency, and scalability of websites continuous integration environments. Configuration, optimization, documentation, and support of the infrastructure components of application\'s which are hosted in cloud services such as AWS, Azure. Implement and support Real User Monitoring solutions as part of our overall APM strategy. Partner closely with software development teams using a strong dev-ops mindset. Measure the effectiveness of processes and procedures to ensure results are being achieved, looking across process, people, and training to identify areas for improvement. Coach and motivate staff to extraordinary performance, addressing performance issues in a timely manner. Oversee training of new and existing staff and fosters teamwork to help them meet and/or exceed performance goals. Demonstrate willingness to do whatever it takes to meet changing departmental and customer needs. Foster responsibility and accountability within all aspects of the department. Skills & Requirements Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field from an accredited college, and 8+ years of related experience. Must exhibit a high-level end-to-end understanding of application design, construction, testing, deployment, and delivery. Experience working with deployment/configuration management tools like Atlassian Bitbucket Pipelines, Bamboo, Jenkins, Maven, Puppet, PaciCorp Terraform, or Ansible is required. Utilizes version control tools like GIT, Bitbucket and AWS Code Deploy. Strong Program/Project and People management experience. Experienced with core cloud infrastructure especially AWS, GCP, Azure. Knowledge of auto-scaling, self-updating, self-repairing, including managing change control and configuration management. Knowledge of core network infrastructure, database, cloud and data center operations. Strong knowledge of Linux and/or Windows OS. Experience with programming and scripting with languages like Python, Perl, Bash, PHP, Java, SQL, or C#. Should have familiarity with Relational database and NoSQL database. Should be able to investigate & perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on users reported issues and suggest workarounds before implementing the permanent fix. Ability to work independently, prioritizes existing projects, and proactively determine areas requiring additional attention, monitoring, or maintenance. Experience in the financial industry is a plus. Ability to multi-task effectively without compromising the quality of the work. Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. Ability to communicate results through various media, both visually and orally, is critical. Ability to work in both Agile or Waterfall software development environments. Passion for building DevOps solutions with state-of-the-art technology. Core Skills Experience in Cloud based technologies, Micro services, OpenShift, AWS, Google, Azure, etc. Exposure level skills in SQL, Windows, Linux, Oracle, Kafka, MQ, Tomcat, JBoss Experience in managing Infrastructure projects for Enterprise Container Solutions/OpenShift/ Cloud by defining scope, dependencies, and priorities Knowledge of industry standard tools and technologies such as AppDynamics, Dynatrace Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly Strong relationship builder, works as a partner with multiple stakeholders and business areas A self-starter who can deliver well as part of a team Ability to work under pressure during tight deadlines Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Education: Bachelor\'s degree/University degree or equivalent experience Master\'s degree preferred Job Family Group: Technology Job Family: Systems & Engineering Time Type: Full time Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
