Leveraging your deep technical expertise and practical experience, you will drive the design, implementation, and optimization of MDM solutions, ensuring the integrity, consistency, and accessibility of critical master data assets.Role Description :

  • As an MDM Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining master data management (MDM) solutions to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of critical business data across the organization.
  • Leveraging your expertise in data engineering, you will collaborate with cross- functional teams to understand business requirements, define data models, develop data integration pipelines, and implement data quality controls. You will work closely with data architects, data stewards, and business stakeholders to address data governance challenges, streamline data processes, and drive business value through effective master data management practices.
  • Design and implement master data models, hierarchies, taxonomies, and relationships to support business processes and data integration needs.
  • Develop data integration pipelines and ETL workflows to extract, transform, and load master data from source systems into MDM repositories.
  • Implement data quality checks, validations, and cleansing routines to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of master data.
  • Configure and customize MDM platforms to meet business needs, including data validation rules, workflow automation, and user access controls.
  • Perform data profiling, deduplication, and enrichment activities to enhance the quality and usability of master data assets.
  • Collaborate with data architects and solution architects to integrate MDM solutions with existing data management systems
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand MDM requirements and objectives, including data domains, data governance policies, and data quality standards.
Ideal ProfileRole Requirement :
  • Solid understanding of MDM concepts, methodologies, and best practices, with hands- on experience in designing and implementing MDM solutions.
  • Proficiency in data modeling, data governance, data quality management, and data stewardship principles and techniques.
  • Experience with MDM platforms and tools (e.g., Informatica MDM, Profisee, IBM InfoSphere MDM), including configuration, customization, and administration.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
  • Experience with data integration tools and ETL technologies (e.g., Informatica PowerCenter, Talend, SSIS).
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for data manipulation, automation, and orchestration.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and applications. Monitor MDM performance, identify and resolve data quality issues, and optimize data processes for efficiency and scalability.
  • Document MDM processes, data mappings, data lineage, and data governance policies for knowledge sharing and compliance purposes.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to business users, data stewards, and IT teams on MDM best practices, tools, and technologies.
  • Troubleshooting skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Additional Requirement :
  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of MDM solutions using Informatica Cloud MDM platforms and Profisee.
  • Analyze and assess existing master data schemas, data governance policies, and data quality rules to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Lead data migration and data synchronization efforts between different MDM systems and data sources, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior data engineers and MDM developers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience with data quality management tools.
  • Knowledge of data governance principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and compliance requirements.
