Job Overview Role: Sr. Cyber Security Engineer - Enterprise Location: Mumbai The Digital and Technology team of General Mills India Centre is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual to contribute to the Global Digital Transformation initiative at General Mills in capacity of an Sr. Cyber Security Engineer - Enterprise. This role will report into Manager Cyber Security Engineering & Operations in India and functionally collaborate with global Cyber Security. It is an Individual contributor role. As a member of Cyber Security, you will be responsible for On-prem, Cloud and Operational Technologies security related infrastructure globally. You will play an important role by partnering with Cyber Security Engineers, Detection & Response, Risk & Insider Threat and Digital & Technology teams to research, design, test, implement, operate and maintain Cyber Security solutions. You will help establish efficient and highly optimized architectural patterns at scale, develop new or enhance existing processes and ensure robust and resilient operational infrastructure. Solutions delivery will be focused on ensuring efficacy, repeatability and scalability across Cyber Security infrastructure platforms and capabilities while maintaining excellent customer service. Role Responsibilities 60% of Time - Sr Cyber Security Engineer, CSEO Design, implement and manage Cyber Security, Enterprise/Network, Cloud, Supply Chain/OT Security solutions and other security protective technologies to safeguard organization from cyber threats and reduce risk surface. Assess and enhance the cybersecurity posture through existing Security solutions. Implement policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices and maintain platform compliance. Provide project consultation on security requirement to other teams on their new or existing projects/solution. Provide technical guidance and support to the incident response team during security incidents and investigations. Platform lifecycle management Create and maintain technical platform documentation related to security configurations, processes, and procedures. Review and update platform documentation for relevance and accuracy Mentoring and developing other team members 20% of Time - On call support - Provide support for existing security solutions, balancing customer service and business objectives with the need to maintain effective controls - Assist in the triage and resolution of ad-hoc incidents - Leverage incisive decision-making and critical-thinking skills - Periodic evaluation of operational duties including partnering with platform SMEs to ensure operating procedure relevance, efficiency and consistency 10% of Time - Automation - Processes Automation (Python, Ansible or any scripting language) - Automate current operational tasks using identified best practices and tools - Collaborate with other team members to validate and implement operational efficiencies - Identify and implement opportunities for improvement through automation, process creation or modification - Contribute to the maintenance of development best practices using industry standard frameworks, tools and techniques 10% of Time- Consultation - Provide technical guidance as needed in support of On-prem & Cloud based security platforms, solutions and technologies - Assist cross-functional technology teams in the effective use, deployment and consumption of security technologies and controls Must have technical skills and competencies 10+ years of total experience in designing, implementing, maintaining, troubleshooting and in-depth technical understanding of Cyber Security, Enterprise/Network, Cloud and SC/OT Security solutions and other security protective technologies. Expert level skills and extensive knowledge working on Networking & Palo Alto technologies (Firewalls, Global Protect VPN, IDS/IPS, Content Filtering, WAF etc) Excellent skills in manging security on cloud platform (GCP Cloud Security) Excellent skills in managing SC/OT Security and sound knowledge of OT network and security architecture. Must have experience in providing project consultation on security requirement to other teams on their new or existing projects/solution. Must have experience on leading/driving large and complex projects and doing POC Must have understanding and experience in Cyber Security Incident response and Security infrastructure monitoring. Good to have knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, Python) for automation and customization of security solutions. Familiarity with security standards and frameworks (NIST) and their application in Cyber security. Mentoring and developing other team members by working through them and knowledge sharing to improve their skills Must have a strong risk-management and continuous improvement mindset. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, and stakeholders. Proven Self-driven with ability to drive and prioritize/complete multiple tasks with guidance. Demonstrated mental agility and ability to push through ambiguity and obtain results. Must possess strong analytical thinking, intellectual integrity and problem-solving skills. Bachelor\'s degree in computer science or related field.
