Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team at Palai RCM Solutions for one of our major clients as Patient Care Coordinators. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and support to patients served by medical facilities across the USA. Your outstanding communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively within a team will contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

Patient Communication: Communicate with patients via inbound and outbound calls, addressing inquiries, providing information, and offering assistance with their healthcare needs. Ensure a compassionate and empathetic approach during all interactions.

Appointment Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule appointments for patients with healthcare providers, specialists, and diagnostic services. Manage appointment calendars efficiently and accurately.

Patient Advocacy: Serve as a patient advocate, actively listening to patient concerns, and assisting in resolving issues related to appointments, insurance, billing, or other healthcare-related matters.

Documentation and Record Keeping: Accurately and thoroughly document patient information, appointments, and communications in the designated systems. Maintain confidentiality and privacy of patient data.

Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other members of the healthcare team, including medical staff, insurance providers, and administrative personnel, to ensure seamless patient care and positive patient experiences.

Insurance Verification: Verify insurance coverage and benefits, ensuring accuracy and completeness of patient insurance information. Collaborate with insurance providers to obtain necessary authorizations and resolve any coverage-related issues.

Medical Referrals: Facilitate and coordinate medical referrals for patients as required, ensuring timely and accurate transfer of medical records and information between healthcare providers.

Quality Assurance: Adhere to established protocols, guidelines, and quality standards to ensure high-quality patient care and service delivery. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and enhance the patient experience.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred).

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a US-based voice process, preferably in a healthcare or medical setting.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong command of the English language.

Compassionate and empathetic nature, with a genuine desire to assist and support patients.

Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills, ensuring accuracy in patient documentation and appointment scheduling.

Strong computer skills and the ability to navigate electronic medical records (EMR) systems and other relevant software applications.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and prioritizing workload.

Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
