Job Responsibilities :

• Assign accurate value from the approved Cost budget to each Cost item level.
• Supervise the Uploading of the Cost Control System in SAP
• Monitor the Cost Control system to ensure that the cost commitment and payments are conducted at the proper Cost Item level.
• Capture the impact of changes in the Cost Reports and alert management at regular intervals for major deviations.
• Maintain the necessary amount of details as is appropriate as per the stage of the project
• Track changes to Budget at agreed intervals
• Analyse the various commitments and payments made in the report.
• Liaise with Projects to ensure that Risk analysis inputs are available to evaluate trends and cost allocation with contingencies
• Update the Cash Flow as per the commitment and payment analysis.
• Update and maintain Trends (including assignment of log No) in the Trend Log as identified by the Project Controls Manager.
• Perform / Co-ordinate the required evaluations for the cost and schedule impacts of the Trends

• B.E / B. Tech

• MBA (finance)

• 7-12 years of Cost Control experience in Oil & Gas industry on CAPEX Projects viz. Refinery and Petrochemical Plants ranging from 200 MM USD to 2 Billion USD and leading a Cost Control team

• Worked as Lead Cost Controller for Oil & Gas Plants and independently produced Various Cost related MIS for CAPEX Projects above 200 MM USD
