The Role: AMD India Private Limited is looking for a seasoned communications professional with demonstrated experience of driving leadership communications at a fast-paced, high-tech global organization. This person will lead internal and external communication programs for the office of AMD India Country Head. The position entails developing and managing strong partnerships with C-level, senior engineering and business leaders in India and globally to ensure a high touchpoint for the executive with key stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
Develop strategic communication plan to support the brand of AMD India country head, internally and externally by leveraging various communication channels.
Identify media opportunities to help the leader take AMD\xe2\x80\x99s message to market and share relevant information with press.
Organize All Hands / Town Halls, team events and other activities sponsored by the Country Head.
Prepare presentations for internal and external events including employee, industry, customer and government events.
Write compelling speeches, thought provoking articles, social media blogs and posts, press quotes, employee emails etc. to convey the views of the leader.
Support the leader in strengthening social media presence.
Work collaboratively with global and regional teams to support the communication needs of the executive.
Travel within and outside India to handle various external and internal engagements of the leader.
Experience, Skills & Education
12-15 years\' experience managing internal, external or executive communications for a technology company and leader either in an agency role or as part of a corporation.
Outstanding project management, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong understanding of social media strategy and execution.
Deep understanding of technology industry and specific semiconductor market knowledge.
Good understanding of India\xe2\x80\x99s semiconductor ecosystem and government\xe2\x80\x99s focus on the sector
Excellent verbal and writing skills to create thought provoking content.
Excellent power point presentation skills & ability to creatively and succinctly present information.
Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills to work with senior leadership within AMD.
Maturity, judgement, and can-do attitude
Strategic thinking, strong execution, teamwork and agility
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in journalism, communications, marketing, business, or related discipline.
