Key Skills and Experience:


1. Oracle EBS Finance Functional/Fusion Finance Functional with around 8+ years of consulting experience in R12 environment. The consultant will work closely with various teams, including, Business teams, DBAs, SME's etc to ensure timely resolution of tickets, utilizing ServiceNow. Creating and maintaining a knowledge repository and identifying continuous improvement opportunities are also key aspects of this role.

2. Has excellent working knowledge of Oracle Financial modules and strong exposure to GL , AP , AR & FA, iExpense, Familiar with Vertex Tax , CM,

alongside a solid understanding of sub-ledger accounting and multi-country taxation.

3. Familiar with O2C-P2P cycle and integration with financial modules - AR/AP/GL

4. Has worked in Multi-Org Environment

5. Has Strong hands on experience on Oracle R12 business transaction flows and & execute E2E testing scenarios

6. Able to troubleshoot issues and provide quick fixes

7. Atleast 1 implementation &/or 2 Upgrades exposure

8. Has worked on Major enhancements or solutions with Global impact - to atleast 2 end to end cycles a plus

9. Excellent with Requirement gathering , mapping and solutioning

10. Exposure to projects which involved Integration, Interfaces, Custom development, Support, Maintenance & Migration

11. Good coordination skills with Customer Team and offsore development team

12. Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills


Roles - Day to Day Duties


1. Project Implementation:

a. Lead and participate in the implementation of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Financial modules.

b. Collaborate with project teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and configure applications.

c. System Configuration And Customization

d. Configure Oracle Financials R12 modules based on business requirements.

e. Customize and extend Oracle EBS applications to meet specific business needs, ensuring seamless integration with other systems.

2. Requirement Analysis And Documentation:

a. Conduct detailed analysis of business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.

b. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including BR100 (setup documents), MD050 (functional design documents), and MD070 (technical design documents).

3. Solution Design And Prototyping:

a. Design and prototype solutions for complex business problems.

b. Ensure that solutions are scalable, efficient, and align with business objectives.

4. Data Analysis And Reporting:

a. Analyze and query application data schemas to generate insights and reports.

b. Develop custom reports and dashboards to support business decision-making.

5. Troubleshooting And Support:

a. Analyze and resolve complex production issues for Oracle Financials R12, including interfaces, reports, customizations, extensions, and workflows.

b. Provide ongoing support to end-users, addressing queries and issues in a timely manner.

c. Utilize ServiceNow or similar IT service management tools to manage and track support tickets.


Note:


• Proactive Collaboration/Availability in Microsoft teams and Email is a must


• Work timings will be 2 pm to 11 pm (3 to 4 hours of overlap in US timing is expected) .

• Has working knowledge of customers' business domains and technology suite.
• Use latest technology, proactively suggest solutions to increase business, and understand customer's business.


Projects Documentation:


• Has In-depth understanding of documentation involved in Project like BBP & Solution Design, FS etc.
• Able to build into require project documentation and can do a Peer review for team members documents.


Domain and Industry Knowledge:


• Working knowledge of customers' business processes and relevant technology platforms/products.
• Ability to prepare process maps, workflows, and business cases with application of industry standards and practices.
• Creation of medium to complex business models.


Functional Design:


• Working knowledge of high-level scope analysis, solution design processes, implementation and integration approaches, as well as cross-functional processes.
• Able to understand and design processes, identify key business drivers, translate use cases into diagrams, update design specifications, and design modular, flexible solutions meeting business requirements.
• Understand the overall solution's integrity, application behavior, and business rules, providing input for technical components, data design, and prototype creation.
• Can coordinate process playbacks and prototype reviews with stakeholders and configure applications for realizing business solutions.


Requirement Gathering and Analysis:


• Working knowledge of requirement management processes and requirement analysis processes, tools & methodologies.
• Able to analyze the impact of change requested/ enhancement/ defect fix and identify dependencies or interrelationships among requirements & transition requirements for engagement.


Test Management:


• Able to perform unit testing & perform comparison testing for rehosting, report testing status and create iteration, system integration test plan and develop integration test cases as required.
• Execute automation test scripts/manual test cases as per test plan, record findings and DIT Test Cases against the baseline code provided.
• Identify, report and document defects identified and perform defect fix/ deviations from expected results
• Create test cases, test scenarios and test data and perform Development Integration Testing.
