This sole contributor role is based in Bangalore and will report to the Senior Director Communications, India.The position is responsible for positioning Honeywell\'s businesses and R&D initiatives with the media across India, working with communications colleagues in the United States and across the India Communications and business teams to tell our story in a consistent and engaging way.The role is also responsible for leading day to day internal communications activities that help engage and inform our 13,000 India colleagues, who we call \'Futureshapers\', about the exciting work Honeywell is doing in the country and around the world.A curiosity about all things technology is a must, as is an ability to adapt to multiple vertical sectors. One day you might be showcasing Honeywell\'s role in enabling Urban Air Mobility. The next you might be promoting how Honeywell supports the transition to renewable energy, or explaining how our technologies are leveraging Artificial Intelligence to build a path to industrial autonomy.What we are looking for:We\'re looking for someone with a proven track record of delivering high impact media coverage with top business and general media in India. They will have experience working for a large, B2B multinational corporation, including tenure within industrial sectors relevant to Honeywell, such as manufacturing, energy, IT or aviation.The successful candidate will have great press contacts that they can leverage to ensure Honeywell is a \'go to\' source of comment for the country\'s most important media on critical issues affecting India\'s economy and its industries.The successful candidate will also have experience driving impactful internal communications across functions in a highly matrixed organization, and will be adept at reaching and engaging employees -- from the factory floor to the boardroom. Experience in CSR storytelling to internal and external audiences is also valued.The highest quality English language writing skills will be critical for success.Responsibilities include:\xc2\xb7 Positioning Honeywell with key media influencers within India and at relevant global events.\xc2\xb7 Providing communications support for our regional business leaders.\xc2\xb7 Writing high-quality editorial content for different audiences and platforms - from press releases and features to blogs and dynamic content.\xc2\xb7 Highlighting the positive impact Honeywell\'s CSR initiatives are making in India, both through the media and internally across our local employee base.\xc2\xb7 Working directly with media and Honeywell\'s PR agency partners to build positive relationships with our most important influencers.\xc2\xb7 Regionalizing global messaging and communications materials to ensure they resonate with local audiences.\xc2\xb7 Coaching Honeywell India spokespeople to interact with the media.\xc2\xb7 Leading and creating regional Town Hall meetings and other internal events, employee newsletters, comms reporting.Basic Qualifications\xc2\xb7 A minimum of eight years\' communications experience across internal and external comms.\xc2\xb7 Highest standards of English written and spoken fluency.\xc2\xb7 Experience in B2B industrial or technology sectors.\xc2\xb7 Demonstrable understanding of internal and external communications measurement.\xc2\xb7 University degree, preferably in Journalism, Marketing Communications, or related field.\xc2\xb7 Previous experience working in the media/journalism is valued.Valued Attributes:\xc2\xb7 Highest quality English-language writing skills.\xc2\xb7 Organized to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment and independently and proactively get projects done and tackle problems head on.\xc2\xb7 Ability to build rapport with a diverse global team and regional business leaders.\xc2\xb7 Positive, high-energy attitude and willingness to embrace change to find new ways to achieve results.\xc2\xb7 Ability to travel occasionally within India to support local events and media activities as needed.As an Equal Opportunity Employer, we are committed to a diverse workforce.
