Job Description

The Prisma Cloud Security Engineer at Evolent Health will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and managing the Prisma Cloud security platform. He will work closely with cross-functional teams, including cloud operations, DevOps, and security teams, to ensure the effective deployment and utilization of Prisma Clouds features. The Security Engineers primary focus is to protect the organizations cloud infrastructure, applications, and data from security threats and vulnerabilities. Responsibilities: Design and architect cloud security solutions based on the Prisma Cloud platform to meet the organizations security requirements. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective security controls and policies. Develop security architecture patterns and best practices for cloud deployments. Implement and configure the Prisma Cloud platform to provide security and compliance for cloud environments, including public, private, and hybrid clouds. Deploy and manage Prisma Cloud agents and sensors for workload protection, network security, and cloud security posture management. Configure security policies, rules, and alerts in Prisma Cloud to enforce security controls and monitor security events. Monitor and respond to security incidents and alerts generated by Prisma Cloud and integrate with SIEM solution (Splunk/Microsoft Sentinel). Conduct security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and remediate security risks in cloud environments. Implement continuous security monitoring and automate security compliance checks using Prisma Cloud APIs and integrations. Collaborate with the security operations team to investigate and resolve security incidents. Develop automation scripts and workflows to streamline security operations and enhance efficiency. Integrate Prisma Cloud with other security tools and technologies to create an end-to-end security ecosystem. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, HITRUST) by implementing appropriate security controls on Prisma Cloud. Collaborate with internal and external auditors to address cloud security-related inquiries and requirements. Maintain documentation of security configurations, policies, and procedures related to Prisma Cloud implementation. Prepare regular reports on security metrics, incidents, and compliance status for management and stakeholders. Communicate and present security-related information to technical and non-technical audiences effectively. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCSP, CISSP, AWS Certified Security Specialty) are highly desirable. Extensive experience in cloud security, including hands-on experience with Prisma Cloud or similar cloud security platforms. In-depth knowledge of cloud computing architectures, technologies, and best practices across major cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, GCP). Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls, and load balancers. Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation and orchestration. Experience with security assessment and auditing frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and security compliance requirements. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze security incidents and provide timely resolutions. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Mandatory Requirements: We require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router.
