Designation: Sr Bridge Design Engineer

Location: Bhopal

Skills Required -

? Preparation of detailed engineering drawing, inputs on feasibility report, detailed project report & schedules etc

(Highways)

? Prepare and review design computations, plan designs, and drawings.

? Conduct research and preparation of reports, and presenting findings and results to clients.

? Perform bridge inspections, write and review inspection reports, and train other bridge inspectors.

? Prepare or modify reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, impact studies, permits, and designs for

projects.

? Prepare inspection reports completely for final review by project manager.

? Inspect bridges as required for structural integrity, general safety and continued conformance to specifications

and codes.

? Technical understanding of structures and design/design review of concrete structures, including both

substructure and superstructure.

? Carrying out detailed design of RCC/ PSC Bridges including design of substructures as per latest IRC Codes.

? Hydrology Calculation, Runoff Analysis, Load Spectrum Analysis

? Ability to interpret soil investigation reports and use appropriate geological design parameters.

? Knowledge of tools like AutoCAD and ensuring drawings are prepared in accordance with CAD standards.

? Knowledge of design codes like IRC, AASHTO and other international codes of practice.

? Competency in writing technical reports.

? Overseeing the work of team members while taking responsibility of one's own work and producing higher

quality technical output.

? Review and interpret construction plans and blueprints for use in bridge inspections.

? Prepare (design) temporary and permanent repair schemes for critical deficiencies identified during inspections.

Pre-Requisites-

? B.E/B. Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.

? 14 to 16 years of total experience with at least 10 years in design of structures.

? M.E/M.Tech in Structural Engineering from a recognized university. (Preferable)

? Proficiency in Staad Pro, Midas Civil, ETABS etc.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?2,000,000.00 - ?2,400,000.00 per year
