This role involvesdriving technical excellence, integrating diverse technologies, and makingdata-driven architectural decisions.As this is a remote job, we would also expect the candidate to have a reliablehigh-speed internet connection, a quiet workspace and be able to work in thetimezone overlapping with the teams in the company.Your key responsibilities:Lead and inspire high-performing engineering teams to build and scale highlyreliable, secure, and performant platforms/products and frameworks.Lead and manage technical teams efciently, ensuring effective collaboration,productivity, and timely delivery of projectsOwn the technical design, realization, and DevOps for a complex microservicesecosystem for large-scale ecommerce.Drive a results-oriented culture with a strong focus on engineering excellence,execution, and a build-for-scale mindset.Develop trusted partnerships with developers, partners, and architecture leadersto drive optimized platform/product delivery.Lead complex technical and strategic discussions involving multiplestakeholders, including engineering, architecture, product, and customer teams.Drive development and design solutions involving the integration of variedtechnologies and products to meet business objectives.Bring a strong industry perspective to help shape and evolve the internaldeveloper experience to be competitive with leading technology organizations.Drive effective, mature Agile practices and continuous execution improvementswithin your teams.Utilize technology from global solutions within the Walmart ecosystem to buildscalable and innovative solutions.Exhibit a high sense of urgency to solve problems and execute solutions withextreme ownership.Attitude to enjoy in a fun, fast-paced environmentMust-Have Technical Skills:5 + years of experience in Java, with strong expertise in Spring Boot.Experience with Javascript and Node JSProciency in AWS and Heroku, with a deep understanding of cloud architecturepatterns.Experience with microservices, cloud architecture, and event-driven designpatterns.Make architectural decisions based on analytical data patterns.Knowledge of message queuing technologies like MSMQ, RabbitMQ, SNS, SQS,etc.Experience with databases such as CouchDB, MongoDB, Postgres, and MySQL.Prociency in integrating systems using REST APIs and sockets.Experience with Git, DevOps practices, and performance optimization.Experience with developing high quality Mobile Applications.Prociency in Linux and shell scripting.Strong skills in security and performance optimization.You Get Bonus Points For:Afnity with airlines, the most exciting industry in the world (travel may berequired at some point)Exposure to product development, self-driven, highly motivated and you mustbe independent in managing your own components or featuresYou must possess an afnity for metrics and analytics - You must be proactiveand must move fast or pivot to meet the changing needs of the productYou care deeply about writing quality/testable/modular code and have a passionto suck every bit of performance of the codeWhat You Can Expect from Us:We try to provide opportunities that not only satisfy your creative instincts but alsoallow you to make a signicant impact on the products that we create and thebusiness we are in.
