Role: Automation Tester
Location: Hybrid - MNC's locations in India
(Locations include: Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, Mysuru, Bhubaneswar, Mangalore, Thiruvananthapuram, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Indore, Coimbatore, and Kolkata.)

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and execute functional and regression tests using automation frameworks.
• Implement and refine testing strategies for applications or projects.
• Automate testing for REST APIs using tools like Postman and REST Assured.
• Utilize Java and Groovy scripting for developing and maintaining test automation.
• Work with BDD frameworks like Cucumber and maintain strong database/SQL expertise.
• Adopt in-sprint automation for Agile/Lean methodologies and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., DevOps, infrastructure, SMEs) to address dependencies.
• Review test metrics, analyze logs, and manage QA codebases using GitHub.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Test Automation.
• Proficiency with Selenium, Springboot, and REST API testing tools.
• Strong skills in Java programming, Groovy scripting, and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline integration and project/test management tools like Jira.
• Experience with Lean/Agile methodologies and full SDLC lifecycle.

Preferred Experience:

• Over 5 years of experience in a global delivery model (onsite-offshore coordination).
• Expertise in creating functional/regression test artifacts and automation scripts.
• Experience improving testing maturity and adopting best practices for efficient automation.
• Familiarity with client specifications and compliance requirements.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: Up to ?80,000.00 per month

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Fixed shift
• Monday to Friday
