We are looking for enthusiastic, passionate Sr. automation engineer to join our growing team as we strive to deliver excellence to our customers. You\'re a self-starter who will be part of an empowered agile team working on our portfolio of products in the FX Trading. While your background will be in development of automation frameworks, automated scripts and helping the junior resources as a senior member of the team, desire to learn and enthusiasm for technology means you can do what it takes to get the job done. Main Responsibilities / Accountabilities: Through engagement with product owners, and the application of diligent QA practices, you\'ll identify, and document test scenarios based on User Stories. Demonstrating a consistent focus on quality, you\'ll ensure that your team delivers reliable, robust software through the creation and execution of automated functional and non-functional tests. Through participation in project planning sessions, you\'ll work with other team members to analyze auto test requirements, provide design options, and provide work breakdown and estimates of work. Working within a multi-functional agile team, you\'ll build robust automated tests, adhering to company standards and established software methodology. You\'ll maintain the framework that runs our automated tests and will execute automated tests as required to support our releases to customers. Where necessary, you\'ll also be involved in manual or exploratory testing. To help the Jr team members when they need any help and make sure they are not stuck/blocked, you\'ll review work of peers and more junior members, providing advice and guidance to benefit the team as a whole. Through agile retrospectives and reviews, you\'ll inspect and adapt, finding innovative ways to make your team work more effectively. Actively participating in Scrum/Planning & Retro meetings, you\'ll give timely status updates on areas for which you are responsible. Working experience of FX trading and different algos, order types with different time in force. Working Experience with cloud Microsoft azure environment. Experienced with automation of trading UI applications, API(REST/WebSocket) as well as Web/UI automation experience. Experience with tools like sami git and intelliJ. Essential Skills/Experience: Capable of motivating and energizing others, as well as gaining their respect. Experience in leading small teams, preferably in an Agile environment Experienced Programmer and/or Automation Tester, with good technical skills Desired Skills/Experience/Education: Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, or related degree 8+ years of hands-on application programming and/or test automation/framework experience in an Agile development environment Experience with test processes, open-source test frameworks, test design strategies, writing test cases, and automating tests in Java with frameworks like Karate/JUnit/TestNG/NUnit, Selenium Experience working in large scrum teams in an agile development environment. Strong knowledge of software development, testing, CI/CD, DevOps, maintenance, and support Familiarity with Open API specifications and contract-first testing practices Experience developing or influencing the development of automated framework(s) for enterprise level functional and regression testing is preferable Python and/or Java scripting other similar scripting languages Experience of using Selenium or other functional test automation tools Self-starter - does what it takes to get the job done. Comfortable operating in a dynamic environment Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. Experience of test tracking tools like JIRA for bug tracking & testrail for test management tool. Proficient using source code management tools such as Git or SVN Familiarity with and/or accreditation in AWS/Azure or similar Cloud technology Work experience with Cucumber, Gherkin and REST API 8 to 10 years of relevant experience.
