This position will be based in Pleasanton, California. Our team cultivates relationships with our business partners built on collaboration & trust to support a rapidly growing business; transforming visions of improving efficiency and operational effectiveness into reality through technology, innovation and inspiration.About the RoleSoftware Engineer (Applications): Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs, and modifies software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked, or Internet-related computer programs. Code may be used in commercial or end-user applications, such as materials management, financial management, HRIS, mobile apps or desktop applications products. Using current programming language and technologies, writes code, completes programming, and performs testing and debugging of applications. Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. May interact with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.Responsibilities:Configure the Salesforce application based on the business requirementsDevelop custom applications using Apex, Visualforce, JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, CSSLearn and apply best practices and experience to build Salesforce applications.Perform support and development activities for applications/projects assignedWork closely with other developers in the team, business analyst, QA analyst and project managers.Research Salesforce.com capabilities as needed to suit business requirements, and provide gap analysisAbout YouBasic Qualifications:2-5 Year\xe2\x80\x99s experience in Salesforce application developmentSoftware Application Development (Bug Fixes & Optimizations) on the Salesforce platform using Object Oriented design methodologies and Salesforce technologies- Apex, VisualForce, Apex Triggers, Salesforce Integrations, APIs on SnapLogicSalesforce Administration of the Salesforce environment; responsibilities include customizing and implementing profiles, roles, security settings, sharing rules, applications, custom objects, custom fields, page layouts, workflow, validation rules, approvals, dashboards, reports, etc.Develop monitoring systems for the critical Salesforce Platform business workflows to pre-empt issues and resolveLead and deliver Automation of tasks/service requestsOther QualificationsSalesforce Certified Developer certificationExperience integrating Salesforce with other applications(preferred)Integration experience is added advantageExperience of working on tools like Snaplogic, Coveo , MuleSoft will be added advantage.Our Approach to Flexible WorkWith Flex Work, we\xe2\x80\x99re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote.
