Job Summary


We are seeking a Lead Quality Engineer with 7 to 10 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SAFE BDD ALM UAF SQL Cucumber Jenkins Scrum Java TestNG Jira Maven and PL/SQL. Experience in the Telecom domain is a plus. This role involves leading quality assurance efforts ensuring high standards and driving continuous improvement in our processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the quality assurance efforts for various projects ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
• Oversee the implementation of SAFE BDD and ALM methodologies to enhance the testing process.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Cucumber TestNG and Java to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers and product managers to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Utilize Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment ensuring smooth and efficient release cycles.
• Manage and track defects using Jira ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with stakeholders.
• Implement and maintain SQL and PL/SQL scripts for database testing ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Coordinate and participate in Scrum ceremonies contributing to sprint planning reviews and retrospectives.
• Drive the adoption of UAF and other relevant frameworks to improve overall test efficiency and effectiveness.
• Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Monitor and report on key quality metrics identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies continuously enhancing the teams capabilities.

Qualifications

• Possess a strong understanding of SAFE BDD ALM and UAF methodologies.
• Demonstrate proficiency in SQL Cucumber Jenkins Scrum Java TestNG Jira Maven and PL/SQL.
• Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Have experience in the Telecom domain is a plus.
• Show strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Display the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
