Job Title : Sr. Associate Manager- Analytical Development

Purpose of the position :• The position will be a part of RD&I organization. The employee independently executes the analytical development and allied activities for pharmaceutical/ nutraceutical products & technologies. The position supports multiple projects simultaneously and collaborates with a team of R&D professionals to ensure efficient and effective completion of all team tasks. The employee also collaborates with cross-functional teams to align all projects with the company's strategic goals and objectives.
• The position is also responsible for smooth functioning of certain sections of the laboratory, compliance to ESHQ and regulatory requirements. Overall, the position plays a critical role in the development and implementation of required analytical methods & techniques and make proactive contributions towards company's growth and success.


Key Responsibilities:• Management of analytical method development and analysis activities for assigned projects.
• Supporting Head-Analytical in smooth functioning of analytical labs.
• Ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with ESHQ guidelines.
• Project and KRA related documentation and upkeep of the same.
• Technical guidance to the team members working on analytical projects.
• Plan & ensure availability of all the necessary materials or any other aspects needed for the successful execution of assigned projects.
• Coordinate with the formulation development managers to ensure timely analysis of the experiments.
• Coordination with potential vendors for buying of new equipment & instruments.
• Support Head- Analytical in coordinating with the global team members regarding any pertinent activities like patenting, marketing etc.
• Ensure compliance to the local regulatory requirements and maintain documentation of the same.
• Drive sustainability initiatives at RCI.


Education and Experience required:• Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical and speciality chemicals industry. with a Masters degree/ PhD in Pharmacy with Pharmaceutical chemistry or Pharmaceutical analysis as a subject of specialization.
• Comprehensive understanding of both established and emerging analytical methodologies. Exposure to biologicals analysis would be a plus.
• Good understanding of sustainability topics and related megatrends.
• Collaboration and problem solving skills
• Good oral and written communication skills, good analytical capabilities has context menu.
