You will collaborate closely you\xe2\x80\x99re your supervisor and a diverse team of legal experts within Micron\xe2\x80\x99s legal department. Your role will demand practical and innovative approaches to meet Micron\xe2\x80\x99s business requirements effectively.Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrating expertise across a wide spectrum of legal areas, including the Indian Contracts Act, Company\xe2\x80\x99s Act, Limited Liability Partnership Act, General Corporate & Governance, Taxation, SEZs, Safety, Environment, Labor, Injury & Dispute Matters, Competition, Governance, Corporate Secretarial, and other regulations at Central, State, and local levels.
• As part of this role, you are expected to have a strong, high-level understanding of the complex legal areas and be able to provide top notch well-tailored legal advice to the business units contributing to both business and legal team\xe2\x80\x99s success and growth.
• Participate in the development of policies, procedures, programs and provide continuing counsel and guidance on legal matters/ implications related to business growth opportunities.
• Assist and work with senior Micron attorneys in Singapore, other counties in Asia and U.S. as needed to ensure compliance with Micron policies and local laws.
• Serve as a key person in advising site(s) leadership, key stakeholders as well as team members over time regarding potential changes in regulatory and legislative areas to ensure Micron reacts effectively.
• You will be required to support/ work closely with Micron\xe2\x80\x99s business units in Bangalore while also liaising with colleagues in Micron\xe2\x80\x99s office in other parts of the Country.

Minimum Qualification:

• Bachelor of Law degree from a reputable institution with excellent academic credentials. Master if Laws will be an added advantage.
• We are seeking for an exceptional lawyer with a minimum of 10 years of working experience. The ideal candidate will have some foundation in litigation along with strong extensive corporate experience, including several years in a multinational corporation.
• Honesty and integrity with highest standard of ethics is critical.
• Well-versed in explaining legal issues and offering good legal and commercial advice.
• Outstanding analytical ability and legal drafting and negotiation skills regarding a broad variety of legal agreements.
• Confidence to share and propose ideas on legal issues to both internal stakeholders and external counsels/ consultants.
• Excellent communications skills; both in verbal and written English.
• Candidate must be flexible to relocate per business needs.
