As an Application Engineer, you can help make possibilities happen.Your primary focus is on configuring and managing JIRA projects. Your responsibilities include writing and maintaining code within JIRA, collaborating with other team members, and adapting to changing requirements. Additionally, you serve as the administrator of the scrum board, ensure cards are up to date, and analyze burndown charts to track progress. You're also adept at eliminating external blockers and managing internal roadblocks through process improvements. \xf0\x9f\x98\x8aJob Summary:Experience: - 1 Year to 4 YearsThis role is to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the in-house information systems that support core organizational functions. This is achieved by monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all networked software and associated operating systems. The Engineer will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments.Job Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Atlassian products (JIRA, Jira Service Management, Confluence)
• Experience designing, building, customizing, and rolling out advanced Jira workflows and schemes.
• Experience with add-ons like Script Runner (Apache Groovy language), Elements Connect, Jira Workflow Toolbox, and Assets (Formerly Insight).
• Experience with automating JIRA workflows, JQL functions, and custom fields.
• Create, maintain, and support dashboards and advanced filters for end users reporting capabilities.
• Develop JIRA templates, and complex JIRA workflows including project workflows, screen schemes, permission schemes, and notification schemes in JIRA.
• Experience in performance troubleshooting and tuning of Jira Data Center
• Assists with direct estimates, such as time, percentage of project completion, etc. to lead and manage.
• Participate in Sprint grooming of technical debt and backlog using JIRA.
• Experience in writing Groovy scripts and automation is a plus.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience required for the job:

• Atlassian Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience in software development tasks.
• 1 + year of previous development experience with JIRA and Confluence
• Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including effectively communicating with business and technical teams.
• A motivated self-starting personality, able to work independently while maintaining patience with interruptions.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholder requests.
• Comfortable working with critical and sensitive systems, with a sense of urgency appropriate to the responsibilities
• Willingness to learn automation and containerization.
• Able to work collaboratively, function as a part of a team, and take on more responsibility to assist teammates, if necessary
