They strategically plan to meet market demands, optimize sourcing, ensure efficient production, and oversee the seamless movement of goods from production to delivery. The team employs advanced analytics throughout these processes, fostering adaptability and operational excellence. This collaborative approach ensures a well-coordinated supply chain that aligns with both organizational goals and dynamic market conditions.Purpose of the roleThe supply chain analytics group is responsible for delivering the solutions and developing the capabilities that enable better decision-making in the supply chain. This team works closely with plan pillars of the supply chain, business units, and other cross-functional partners to develop solutions to drive business value.This team also drives step-change innovation and improvements in business practices by delivering actionable demand insights through advanced analytics and supply chain expertise.The purpose of the job is to support the Demand planning function by providing Innovative solutions and help to implement them to optimize/Standardize processes, which will bring improvement to the overall forecasting approach, resulting in better accuracy. Explore and take up opportunities supporting demand planning efforts by creating and executing industry-standard approaches.Key Accountabilities

  • Thorough understanding of different forecasting models (time series and causal modal), analyzing forecasting outputs, and preparing final analysis of change reports for the stakeholders to understand the data analysis steps, enabling them to make important decisions based on various facts and insights.
  • Proficiency in Identifying, analyzing, and interpreting patterns and trends through descriptive analysis in complex data sets that could be helpful for diagnosis and prediction.
  • Analyzing the different performance metrics (e.g., Accuracy, Bias, etc.) and identifying improvement opportunities through RCA to achieve business targets.
  • Constantly engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment in demand forecast.
  • Lead and Coordinate with Demand Planner to identify process improvement opportunities, validate outputs, and propose modifications if required.
  • Fully identifying and utilizing o9 system capabilities in the space of Demand planning.
  • Mentoring, training, and onboarding of new joiners and interns.
  • Leading ad hoc projects independently, taking initiatives, identifying process gaps and providing solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Advanced Excel (power pivot, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of o9, SAP,OMP
  • Proficiency in statistical forecasting models, machine learning, and supply chain.
  • Stakeholder management, project management, Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and business acumen skills.
Preferred QualificationsEducation
  • Minimum Degree Requirements: Bachelors
  • Preferred Degree Requirements: Masters
  • Preferred Major Area of Study: Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain
  • Preferred Professional Certifications: GCP certification.
Experience
  • Minimum years of related experience required: 3
  • Preferred years of related experience: 4-6
