Summary
To drive end-to-end analysis as part of procurement transformation, mainly in procurement activities supporting Procurement and supply chain. You will lead our internal efforts to manage the analysis of the various disciplines of supply chain function and deliver timely analysis and report for transformation. You will drive updates and forecasts in a structural manner with clearly defined views and outputs for all supply chain disciplines within transformation.



I. POSITION SUMMARY

To drive end-to-end analysis as part of procurement transformation, mainly in procurement activities supporting Procurement and supply chain. You will lead our internal efforts to manage the analysis of the various disciplines of supply chain function and deliver timely analysis and report for transformation. You will drive updates and forecasts in a structural manner with clearly defined views and outputs for all supply chain disciplines within transformation.

II. NATURE AND SCOPE

This position is primarily responsible for driving data analysis, spend analysis, process flows, dashboards, process improvements and report outs for supply chain transformation. The role reports into Manager procurement process transformation and will have visibility of all GFO activities across procurement disciplines. You will have the responsibility of performing data analysis and providing insights/forecasts, developing dashboards, process flows and support in other areas of transformation as required by the Transformation Manager.

IV. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Areas of responsibility:

  • Retrieve, normalise and manage the data for various kinds of analysis
  • Analyse and review process improvements from data analysis results for improvement initiatives and forecasts.
  • Engage with various stakeholders for data and utilize excel and other tools for driving insights.
  • Seek guidance from Transformation Manager on areas of focus and help in driving procurement process improvement via regular 1:1s
  • With process improvement initiative, ensure appropriate data backup and analysis is made available w.r.t. impact of the improvement in various areas of cost, quality and delivery.
  • Build internal documents/procedures for transformation team
  • Bi-weekly reports preparation of various transformation initiatives.
  • Ensure engagement with various stakeholders as required
  • Highlight any hurdles, roadblocks to the direct manager in a timely manner
  • Work closely with supported businesses and functional organizations to ensure stability and cost effectiveness of supply chain by removing waste from processes
  • Provide insights from analysis to simplify processes to maximize value proposition across the supply chain
V. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications - Bachelor\'s Degree in Engineering, advanced powerpoint and advanced excel

Experience
  • 10 to 12 years of experience in spend analysis along with know how of procurement/strategic Equipment sourcing and supply chain cycle with process improvement in an EPC, Oil & gas or Shipping environment
  • Experience in spend analysis, developing playbooks, automated excel programs
  • Developed dashboards on Qliksense/power BI
  • Provided meaningful insights and forecasting
  • Developed reports for management review
  • Preferable with working experience in Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC), Industrial Gases or Petrochemicals / Chemicals or Oil & Gas Industries
  • Worked with a multinational company in a matrix set up will be an advantage.
  • Detailed knowledge of supply chain end-to-end cycle in terms of purchasing procedures and practices, including aspects of process flow regarding, requisition, purchase order issuance, invoice management and communication/reporting amongst various procurement disciplines.
  • Proven track record in setting up global standardized processes via systems/ digitization and data analysis
  • Preferably Six-sigma certified
  • Familiar with operating within SAP environment and SMAT
