Timely closure of activities associated with MEC, QEC and YEC
Submitting MEC, QEC and YEC reports under controllership role as per group finance requirements and within strict timelines using SAP and BPC systems
Variation analysis on MoM basis before and after the books close
Balance sheet schedule reviews on monthly basis
Financial analysis of Key GL accounts
Ensuring delivery of key audit schedules for Group as well Indian GAAP audits
Other requirements at legal entity level under various Indian laws including but not limited to Income tax, GST, Companies act and RBI act
Review of Fixed asset registers and assist in physical verifications
Review of Bank Reconciliations on weekly basis
Collaborate with other functional areas like business, business finance, Tax & Compliance, Shared Services and Intra-department
Ensure compliance with Company accounting policies and the application of generally acceptable accounting principles.
Should have sound knowledge of accounting principles and practices and demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ensure compliance with internal control policies in a SOX environment
Working knowledge of - SAP, BPC and proficient in MS Excel
Basic Qualifications and Skills
Should be a Chartered Accountant or Certified Public Accountant
2 - 3 years of accounting and/ or finance experience. Experience in finance controllership function will be given preference.
Sound knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Working knowledge of - SAP, BPC and proficient in MS Excel

Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
