At CPW team we are looking for someone to lead analytical and Consulting projects for us. This candidate will work with stakeholders and other analytical professionals across the Globe to understand business challenges and opportunities and define the analytical techniques to answer these.

We expect the candidate to:
- Lead project engagement for one of the CPW regions and be accountable for all analytics needs
- Understand the Business Opportunities and Challenges, evaluate multiple data sources (POS data, Panel Data, external sources) and synthesize this data to draw detailed analysis and insights and provide the "story" to aid business objectives
- Have a good experience in Consumer research with a good Analytical mindset
- Possess excellent Stakeholder management skills
- Have depth knowledge in POS data, good to have knowledge in HH panel data
- Know how to translate complicated business question to simplified solution
- Have strong Communication skills and be a good Story- teller

Some examples of projects we expect are:
- Understanding the Product Performance and derive key driving factors
- Determining the potential size of new products launched
- New Product , Price, Promotion, BTL Analytics
- Product Strategy

- Stakeholder management
- Probe to understand the underlying Business question from stakeholders and share relevant insights that drives impact to the Business
- Share insights proactively & frequently using the pool of data available
- Gain expertise in using the tools developed in-house
- Conduct logical analyses using the rich pool of data to provide clear verbal and written explanations or key conclusions based on the analyses conducted
- Own specific analytic infrastructure relating to mission-critical strategic approaches
- Build process efficiencies into analytic procedures as opportunities present themselves to provide swifter analyses with higher accuracy
- Be able to explore large data sets and proactively make recommendations for an analysis plan and follow-through with the proposed plan.
- Integrate other learning as appropriate
- Provide the "story" not just the data
- Independent & End to End project management on multiple projects undertaken

- Leverage Continuous Improvement tool to eliminate waste in the process
- Serve as a consulting resource for the Global & Regional teams

Education

Minimum Degree Requirements: Bachelors
Preferred Degree Requirements: Masters
Preferred Major Area of Study: Marketing / Market Research
Required Professional Certifications: Masters in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics/Econometrics, MBA
Preferred Professional Certifications: MBA

Experience

Minimum years of related experience required: 5-7 years - analytics experience; experience with business consulting is desired.
Preferred years of related experience: 6+ years - analytics experience; experience with business consulting is desired.

Specific Job Experience or Skills Needed
- Strong technical knowledge of Syndicated research (Point of Sale, Nielsen IRI tools)
- Need to have HH panel data experience
- Good communication skills
- Strong Story telling skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively together
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Fluency with Microsoft Office Suite with strong excel and PowerPoint
- Experience using SQL
- Experience of working on Nielsen Answers/IRI Unify/ Dunhumby Tools
- Prior Experience in CPG industry preferred
- Experience working and collaborating with others to build effective plans for conducting analysis based on needs of the project.
